Good value everyday wine. White peach, un ripe pear and yellow apple nose. Relatively short finish but tasty and perfect for a hot patio

Good value wine to drink now. Lots of black plums and savory herbs but needs decanting an hour.

1/26/21, 10:04 PM - In terms of cellaring, I would suggest for the short term only. Already 5 years from vintage now, this might integrate itself a bit more over the next 2 years or so but why risk it. It's pretty good now.

Nice bottle of wine with a rich palate that maintains acidity.
Definite toasted oak notes, vanilla and warm butter, but with a nice vein of lemon and orange peel.
Long finish and overall tasty. But price point is obviously high.

1/16/21, 5:33 PM - I've tasted their full range several times and they do not disappoint. The question of price will always come in when talking about wines in the $100 price point, regardless of where they come from. Most people don't get the chance to try these wines, all they know if price. They are good wines.

Quite ripe style with notes of candied banana, white flower and honeycomb. Luscious palate filled with notes of blood orange, honey, and mango. Showing well for such a hot vintage as 2015.

9/2/20, 10:09 PM - I can't take all the credit here as I bought this vintage from the winery recently. Good consistency across the board at Le Vieux Pin

This wine sounded interesting when I last visited the winery - ten different clones across two BC locations? I'll bite.

That being said, you really smell the oak influence here...even after a solid decant. Think dark fruit here, also: black raspberry & cherry.

These aromas spill onto the palate with serious earthiness, luscious acid, spice & smoke on the finish.

Uncharacteristic PN with several layers of complexity here ...kept me interested all evening.

6/6/20, 10:28 PM - I'd say this could sit another year or two while maintaining balance.
Definitely ripe and wrapped in oak but nice acid that should carry it a couple more years.

Luscious and juicy with honeycomb and dried apricots. 25 years old and not showing any signs of fading. Impressive wines to share with good friends.
