I love old Chenin. Reductive upon opening but then super fun. Lots of lees with orange peel and honeycomb. The palate is zippy and long and quite delicious.

While an unconventional mix of Petit Verdot and Syrah this is classic Italian in profile. Sour cherry and dark plums with Oolong and cloves. Needs decanting to open up but then quite tasty. Wet earth and slate notes on the finish shows the potential of this wine in a few years.

Mix of vinyl and wet leaves with wax and plum. Structured tannins with pomegranate and sour cherry. Changed considerably over 4 hours and I preferred it upon opening.
Drink now and over the next few years.

Great wine and drinking well at 12 years old. Savory from start to finish both on the nose and palate. Sea salt, cloves, leather, cured meat, smoked plums…just keeps going. Wish I had more

Pretty red fruited aromas with an almost jammy intensity. Long spicy finish with evolving flavors from compote to leather. Tasty now and could cellar 8-10 years

Better the second night Needs decanting and time to open up then you get pretty aromas of rose petals and dried cherry with baked plums. Juicy palate with a long finish and classic Nebbiolo tannins Drinking nicely now but can cellar a few more years easily

Opened this at the winery today to check in on. 2013 blend of mostly Merlot Malbec Cab Sauv. Surprisingly fresh and fruit forward. Plums and cherry with red licorice aromas. Similar palate with slight alcohol coming through with sour cherry and cloves. Impressive for a decade in at this price point. Have a couple of cases at the winery if interested

Damn #cheninblanc is good. Mix of cheese curds, warm butter and lemon zest up front with notes of plastic beach ball and honeycomb. So good. Lively palate with a long savory finish. Delicious. Drinking well now and should continue to cellar nicely a few more years

Drinking beautifully now this 2009 Cabernet is a delicious. Leather and lead pencil aromas with ripe blackberry Palate is well integrated with tannins and fruits and acid all seamless
