This is the archetype of a noble Brunello. Fruity, rich, - lots of ripe, dark fruits, plum, blackberry, black currants. Probably at its best now, but will stay very enjoyable over the next few years.. Enjoy!

Veldig lys, gjennomsiktig farge.

Great Sauvignon Blanc. Fantastic value for money. Fresh, grassy smell, and round and mellow flavours of apricot and lime.

Still very nice. A surprisingly good wine. Smells of vanilla and a little oak which I normally don't appreciate but is nicely balanced in the taste. Tast of dark berries. Not very fruity. Almost Bordeax-like.

Excellent Barbaresco. Still young and a little hars, but it will mellow and mature nicely over the next 10 years?

I have previously drunk the 1999 version of this wine and was probably more impressed by that vintage. Its a very well made Barbera, but less exciting than other, nebbiolo-based Piedmont wines. Decanted 4 hours, served at 14 degress. Fruity nose and palate, taste of vanilla and tobacco, soft, nice tannins

Tasted this as part of a Piemonte tasting that included a Langhe Nebbiolo by Renato Ratti, a 2005 Barolo from the same winemaker, a Riserva Barbaresco Pora from PdB and a barbera d'asti from Giacomo Bologna. In this context the Nebbio fell through as crude and unfinished. It was served straight from the bottle and both smelled and tasted strongly of yeast. A hint of walnuts. 2-3 more years and a couple of hours of breathing before drinking might do wonders to this wine.

We drank this bottle as part of a Piedmont tasting, and the comparisson to the Barolos og Barbascos we enjoyed is probably a bit unfair. Anyway it is a nice, pure, classic nebbiolo with a fresh fruitiness that I quite like. It was not decanted, but served straight from the bottle at 14 degress C. I suspect it would benefit from a couple of hours to breath before serving.

Pure, classic nebbiolo. Quite light, transparent coppertone colour, complex palette of tastes with fruits and sharp tannins. Served at 14 degrees C after 4 hours decanting. Lovely wine!

A very powerfull Barolo. Burnt wood, ripe, dark fruits. A little tar and tobacco. Deep ruby colour. A very impressive wine with distinct but quite mellow tannins. Hard to belive it can develop further, but surely it will. I can't wait to follow it...

Allthough very light and transparent in the glass I am quite impressed with this PN. Letting it warm up from 12 to 16 degrees in the glass unveils nice aromas from red berries and toasted almonds. I find it difficult to guess whether this wine will develop further, but suspect it will mature somewhat during the next 2-4 years and become an even better burgundy-copy.

I opened this bottle to drink with a nice breast of duck with haricot verts and portwine-sauce. I had opened and decanted the wine a good one and a half hour before dinner. My wife, however, fell ill and I couldn't cope with the whole bottle myself so I poured back into the (cleaned) bottle and left it in the fridge untill the day after. To my great surprise it was much better on day 2. Still sweetish, but with very nice aromas of red forrest berries, plum and even raisins. very long aftertaste...The initial alcoholcharacter was all gone ....very pleasant! (by the way; on day two we had lamb)

This was a strange experience. Quite unpleasant smell of sulphur and wet dog. It goes a long way to confirm that Pinot Noir outside Bourgogne is a joke.

All Chablis-friskhet var borte. Jeg mistenker at denne var vel "over the top" før den kampanjen jeg selv ble lurt av sist vinter.
