A wow value at this price point. Really pretty floral/polleny, lemon and slight leesy character on the nose. Palate is restrained but still somehow quite flavorful, with a effortless mid weight and perfect med+ acid. Ton of upside to holding as well, there is a lot of complexity hiding behind the primary notes here. Very enjoyable, good on its own or at the dinner table.

Christmas dinner - no formal notes
Maybe not as profound as our previous bottle? Still lovely, and like a true Brunello, really elevated by a great lasagna.

No danger of decline any time soon

    12/24/21, 9:03 AM - @ecuri Opened for 2 hours. Decanted for 1 hour. Consumed over 1-2 hours. Continued to improve and probably could have benefited from additional air. But was never thin.
