Clearly syrah, this had an enticing nose of dark berries, black pepper and vanilla with some green steminess. On the palate, along with some noticeable heat this displayed an abundance of blueberries, blackberries, cherries and spicy oak. A huge wine. Very ripe, liqueur-like.

    12/13/17, 10:26 AM - Hi mats. I tend to follow Robert Parker's definition of the 100 point scale. My score of 83 indicates this is merely a good wine, and I just don't think it's really any better than that. For me, the noticeably high alcohol and excessive oak treatment keep this from being anything more than 'good'.
