Notes of cranberry, oak and moss on the nose. Fruit forward approach with notes of blueberry and cranberry and a nice bold flavor but not huge. Very well structured tannins and a nice smoothe finish with long legs and a strawberry and mossy almost piney finish. Very nice wine and a very different wine than their typical. This 2018 needs at least another two years on the bottle.

In terms of Chardonnay this is near perfect.

Way too young to drink in 2020. I have the 2015 and have been drinking that for 2 years. It's far better than the 2016. The 2016 shows notes of complexity but needs some more time in the bottle.

Super smoothe on the approach and finish. 18 years really tamed the syrah.

What a wonderful wine for the money. It is a classic Napa Cab, big and smooth. It also get better with every moment. The wine looks inky colored. Had a plum and big vanilla right on the nose. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It tastes like lightly toasted oak, tobacco and big blackberry. The body is medium/full. The wine has silky texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has low acidity. If I tasted this wine blind I might mistake it for a much more expensive wine from the Valley.
