7/27/17, 11:23 AM - @dwaynelm: Could possibly be, I also have to admit that I am not a big fan of most new world Pinots in general.
5/21/17, 6:59 PM - Really? I find this to have way more fruit then a low end german Spaetburgunder (much more sun in Chile) and a lot less Character (earthy, mineral, truffel notes) then a high end German Spaetburgunder. For me its an OK new world Pinot with ripe fruit, but not the over the top Napa cough syrup style, but missing what you are really looking for in a good Pinot.
3/6/16, 4:45 PM - Matchstick sulfur is a great way to put it. I was thinking of flint first before I was reading your notes, but machstick is exactly what there is on the nose.
12/1/12, 7:22 PM - he he he, just had a 2006 and felt exactly alike. Its so aaarghhhh, especially if you've ever had a good or even regular Barbera from Piemonte. Soooo bad!
