easy going, gastronomical, quite balanced (power, time on lees, acidity, fruitiness) exept for a bit high dosage (to my preference)

Classic Bordeaux, excellent vintage, lacks precision, solid: lots of pencil, some graphite, from fruit side - bitter prunes and some thick skinned overripe plums. Definitely not a success for a vintage given chateau reputation over last years. May be worth trying again in 5 years

Strange bottle for sauzet: weak nose, good on the mouth, lacks finish. No classic precision with peaches and gentle acidity. This should be Starting booming right now, so Will check next bottle in 3-6 months

classic 03, classic cos, but one level of everything parker loves up: colour, power, extraction. definetely too muscular for a 17yo wine and I am not sure this moscularity will ever fade away. Still fresh, main reason the bottle was finished. I am not bordeaux drinker anymore just of this type of wines, stopped buying cos since 2012 (though still some vintages I am in for montrose and ducru)

not a "purjuice". Overripe and overextracted to my taste of modern beaujolais. Dark, quite concentrated. A bit too much oak to my taste

Very deep-yellow coloured. Very ripe and ready on the nose (especially given the vintage). Full and 100% ready classic mouth with sharp acidity. Nice value if you ike this specifics (coloured as 12-15 yo, mouth as 7 yo, acidity of a 3 yo)

great example of an excellent wine from en average producer. Great price qulaity here given CV quality is usually not one of a true GC. Mix of red and black berries, just enough of wood, exellent material, long finish

In no way this is near to batard which boarders enseigners, more subtle flowery, young Toulon style here. Burgundy elegant whites rarely can be better than this

One of rare number of great sparkling wines outside of champagne. Very applish on the nose, good structure. Guess in no so hot vintage as 2015 could be more refined

Clean, pure, much more sangiovese style noe than 3-4 years ago. Mot that berries and smoke based. Dried fruits and berries, cherry based, some euicaliptus and tobaccoo in the end.

More of acidity then of flowers or fruits. Lemon, green apple, a bit of flowers. Opens after coiple of hours in the glass. Good potential. Drink 2020+

Opened and drank for 2 hours. Wine is perfectly ready to drink. Classic left bank cold vintage fruit - black currant, spices, some plum and pencil. Those who who like fruit should drink it noiw and over next 5-6 years. Other could wait for more (with probabilty not to get anything)

Surprisingly weak performance. Seams to be past its peak. Flowers, white pepper and spices, honey, but no sign of citrus and low acidity together with extremely high alcohol is killing the wine
not recomended

Very closed at the beginning. Opens up really slow. After 3 hours: Some fruit, some pencil, firm, but not overwhelming. too austere given the vintage, not sure it will open up much more given what you usually expect from leoville barton (that just slowly fade into autumn aromas). Could be a bad bottle given excellent reviews here, but cork was excellent

Too much of new world here.

Colour definetely more of a bordeaux compared to 04-06, but very velvety and sweet on the nose. Wine is still very closed, opened after 2 hours in the bottle. Chocolate, spices and a bit of herbs - all you can find in Chile

No great power, no concentration and that's why its great. Medium coloured. Classical red berried nose and mouth. A bit spicy and herbal. Structured, enough tannins for 08, but not overly to sweet. Great bottle almost ready to drink

Absolutely beautiful, but not ready at all. Dense aromas of white flowers convert into gentle white peach, not ripe pear and subtle citrus . Very mineral driven in the mouth supported by lots of acidity. This is a true gem that should be drunk not earlier than 2020.
