Undrinkable. Probably corked. I have another bottle which I’ll try and report back.

Have to admit I was disappointed. Just tasted again on the second day hoping for more, but it’s just not rockin my boat. A bit acidic and not fully developed IMHO. I’m certain there’s enough tannin to wait at least a few more years when I expect to be pleasantly rewarded.

Waited for almost 20 years to open this bottle stored it in my wine cellar. Opened it at a friend's home to drink before and during dinner. Threw it away. Classic case of a corked bottle of wine.

This bottle was either way past it's prime or it suffered from oxidation. Color was pale red and the wine was barely drinkable.

This wine is still holding up although this it's at the end of its prime. Good Rhone bouquet, medium to full body, smooth with a peppery finish. A very pleasant surprise as thought I missed the drinking window. I really like 2000 red Rhones.
