Enjoyable 'super tuscan' style Sangiovese - CS blend.

I get blackberries, quite some notes of fresh forest fruits & redcurrant with an acidic touch along with some pepper -y spices. Integrated tannic structure. This, and the acidity really balance out this wine nicely and makes for an elegant whole. Perhaps I expected a bit more from this, but still good stuff. Still a bit too young and immature maybe?

A pleasure, as always. Mrs H prefers this over the Aalto (which, admittedly, we drink a bit younger). Will be fun for some years to go, yet not sure it will greatly improve.
