Tasting Notes for Alemany

An old favorite. Learned of it when I lived in Rome. The Pope’s wine at the time. This vintage is subtle with lower flavor impact but every bit as delicious. And no, I don’t use wine lingo for my reviews ☺️

First time I have this wine. Impressed! It is very powerful. You can taste the wood. Good with strong cheeses and meat with fat. Outstanding. (Yes I don’t use normal wine nomenclature ☺️)

Ohh very high tannins c6/c10. What Faustino I used to be before they softened it for the US market. Very strong complex and woody. Outstanding wine

An outstanding wine. High in tannins like they use to make them (and still do in Europe). 1982 was a truly exceptional year for Faustino Perfect with heavy meat and grease, very strong and high body and extremely complex.
