1/15/24, 7:09 AM - $30 bucks at the winery. $14 seems very attractive for this cuvee
12/10/23, 6:25 AM - Try another bottle when the drinking window opens and compare.
12/5/23, 5:30 PM - Based upon the drinking window, I would suggest trying another bottle in 2 years. Then compare.
8/27/23, 3:31 PM - If you live near Tampa, I have two bottles remaining.
7/11/23, 7:11 AM - Very welcome!
4/28/22, 6:46 PM - So sorry to hear that.
3/11/22, 3:02 PM - Hope your experience was a one-off based upon the most recent comments ahead of yours.
3/6/22, 9:41 AM - Don't let Togni discover that you drank a bottle with less than 10 years of age. He'll remove you from his mailing list. Seriously.
7/14/21, 3:46 AM - User drinking window says wait until 2023. Maybe too young now?
6/18/21, 6:08 AM - I have a vertical of this 07, 08, 09, 10, 13, 14. Very much an under acclaimed bottling.
1/31/21, 8:16 AM - I found it for $27. Will I still be disappointed? Thx
10/9/20, 11:43 AM - 2010
6/12/20, 6:42 AM - I agree. Really good quality but they spend a lot on marketing.
4/28/20, 2:00 PM - Please do not score corked or spoiled bottles. thx
2/21/19, 10:53 AM - The score seems inconsistent with your comments. Was it a typo?
1/29/19, 5:53 AM - Unfortunately, your care of the bottle and its provenance have nothing to do with a bottle being corked. The bacteria that causes "corking" is found naturally in cork and affects roughly 1/1000 bottles. Most reputable wine shops and all restaurants will accept a return/replace with no questions asked. Hope that helps. Please remove your 70 score as a corked bottle should not be counted.
1/29/19, 2:34 PM - Totally random.
1/25/19, 9:41 AM - What do you think the score would have been if properly stored?
12/1/18, 3:11 AM - I agree. This was a pleasant WTSO surprise.
9/1/18, 7:32 PM - 76 points..Doesnt mesh to your comments.
2/26/17, 3:57 PM - Ben,I've had two of these and found both to be quite nice, especially at the $20 price point. See you next week. Are you arriving by dinner Sunday?
2/4/17, 5:48 AM - Is the 50 score correct?
4/22/16, 7:21 AM - Like the review. Your score however does not seem to mirror the words.
3/26/16, 7:06 AM - Your 54 point rating does not sync with your comments. Would you like to edit the score?
12/12/15, 6:48 AM - Nice review, but are you sure the score is correct? It doesnt seem to fit with the commentary. thx
5/22/15, 4:44 AM - Stopped into their tasting room just off I20 in East Texas and was similarly surprised by the quality of these wines. Thx for the review. Extremely helpful that someone else agrees with us.
3/9/15, 7:42 PM - boatdrinker had similar comment
2/25/15, 1:30 PM - Paid $21.27 at Last Bottle.
2/13/15, 2:51 PM - I will open my last bottle and check it out. Will look at the cork as well. Appreciate your post.
10/12/14, 6:55 AM - Agree wish I had purchased more as well.
7/15/14, 2:48 PM - If I recall, the wine was initially closed, then opened after a decant of about an hour to reveal as indicated. Hope that helps.
3/8/14, 1:42 PM - Hope it settles down. I have enjoyed Helen's wines over the years...just takes a little more time..
2/28/14, 1:59 PM - I think you tried this wine way to early in its life. Check the drinking window...put one down for a few more years, I think you will have a better experience.
2/21/14, 7:20 AM - Cant even compare this wine to Brunello...
1/26/14, 6:47 AM - Most definitely the Premium. Perhaps just going through a funky phase, though I'll never know since this was my last and only bottle.
12/23/13, 1:29 PM - Bummer could be the vino understatement of the century. Sorry to hear..
4/26/13, 9:51 AM - ve been with WTS fir 3 years. Anytime wine is shipped please allow at least 2-4 weeks for the wine to settle. Then try another bottle...Hope that helps..
2/19/13, 6:02 PM - Which wines one first and second?
12/1/12, 7:00 AM - 14.98 on Lot18. Great value for sure if you can find more!
