In 2019 I tasted One and wrote: “Beautiful clear color.
Tempting sweet notes in the noise - caramel and cherries - blended with some strawberry notes - still quite "young".
Balanced on the palate - elegant and beautiful.
Still a wine with years to go - I will try the next one in 2021.
I already look forward to it :)”

And The 2 years gave a Fantastic layer of Brown sugar and balsamico and mint notes in The nose.

Wonderful wine!

Cherries, raspberries, rippen, licorice, some hints of candy. Kind of dark in type.
Fresh acidity, rippen, raspberries.
More elegant after some hours - still it needs 2-3 years to soften.

Nice color, brownish because of the age - quite dark though.
Warm nose - Pinot, yes, but very powerful for a Pinot - and "Cool Climate"? Then I believe that a "Warm Climate" must be too much!!
Good balance on the palate.
Nice wine - and it aged well.

Beautilful color - clear, starting to get brown.

Delicious nose, herbs, mature notes - just as it should be.
On the palate - round, wellbalanced - mature, but still with character.

I must say - very nice wine - 15 years old.
If you have some, enjoy now ;-)

Very nice dark red/brownish color.
Dark fruits - plums - sweet tones from the barriques - and on top minty, iron notes to give a lighter finish.
On the palate ripe fruits, wood - still a good portion of tannins.

But very beautiful now - drink now or keep!
(don't understand those who write "drink up" - i find at least 6-8 years left in this wine)

Mmmh, quite surprising - thought it was dead, but no.

Very nice red-brown color like I expected.
Ripe fruit, barrique, prunes, tobacco - herbs and dust with a bit of pencil. Very nice nose.

On the palate it is quite acid - strong acidity, still with quite a few tannins drying out the mouth. Have to drink with food.

But as I said - quite surprised about this wine - still alive and kicking!

Not a huge wine - but wellbalanced and delicious to drink.

It seems like this Wine continue to develope to the better.
Still a nice Dark color - clear.
Nose developed - blueberries, elderberries, licorice, spices, vanilla.
On the palate dark berries, sweet cherries, licorice, powerful, soft tannins - since last time i tasted it even more soft - like velvet - and very nice to drink.
A very nice Rasteau!!

Clear color - very light in the edges.
I had decanted it 3 hours before.
In the beginning little notes - dark berries, licorice but not much else.
After quite a long time - 5-6 hours - it began to show some more sweetness and complexity.
The same on the palate - not very powerful as normally.
So I would say that it is quite closed now and I will save my other bottles 2-3 years minimum.
This 2005-vintage - also from other winehouses in Southern Rhone - is quite special - repellent and closed - will it ever open up??

Nice red-brownish mature color.
Delicious mature grenache nose; dusty and quite peppery - the pepper that made me chose some of these 2002-vintages.
But also sweet from the grenache.
2002 such a difficult vintage many places, but Cassan made a fantastic wine in my oppinion.
Also peppery on the palate - mature fruits - just a real nice taste.
I really like this domaine - they make a very such nice Southern Rhône - even in the bad years!

Red-brown color - ageing Grenache.
Very nice mature Grenache nose, perfume, tobacco, sweet licorice.
Huge power and strength - still - the grenache seems mature, but some kind of power and spicies from the Mourvedre.
Mature wine but still not "over the top" - not sure though if this will be better than now.
Try it.

Wauw - what a nice nose. Very surprising!
Nice balanced and fruity - plus caramel, coffee - well a cappucino-thing - so a very broad experience.
On the palate strong with heavy, but balanced tannins - very perfect for drinking now.
A lot of fruit - and what I like the most - this 2005-vintage is "softening up".
I have had a problem with the 2005-vintage in Southern Rhone because of the dryness, too strong tannins and power, but it seems like that they will soften with time ;-) Perfect!

On the palate quite "strong" and with perfect balance.

Nice dark red color.
Very "berry" in the nose - raspberries, strawberries - nice fresh nose with a touch of oak.
On the palate dry with a finish of strawberries - quite young in the feeling.
Well, I think it has a lack of dark tones - very red and fresh from berries - not to expect from a 5 year old wine, quite expensive wine.
Still a nice wine though.
