Inky dark ruby color. Powerful and intoxicating aroma of dried black fruits, lavender, wet forest floor, vanilla and tobacco. Dry, smooth acidity, chocolate velvet tannins, on palate dried blackcurrant, black cherry, chocolate, black tea and graphite. Full and lush body. Great balance. Lingering finish. If I had to fault it, it would be that it’s got that bit more punch than finesse.

Medium purple,medium(+) rose,blackberry,fennel,black pepper,ripe fruit,candy,chocolate,caramel,hazelnut,dry,high acidity,chalky medium(+) tannin,high alcohol,medium(+) body,medium(+) finish,very good wine,suitable for bottle ageing
