I really enjoyed this wine. It is drinking nicely today. It was medium-bodied emanating fresh, crisp notes of pear and apple with a hint of oak. The oak seemed to disappear after a short while.

This was a crowd pleaser. It consisted of flavours of toasted almond, mango, ginger, and mandarin orange. It will improve over time.

My birthday wine. Did not disappoint - berry flavours, smooth and crisp with complexity.

I really enjoyed this Champagne. I would highly recommend this Champagne. I am finding the 2008 vintage has produced some outstanding Champagnes.

This Champagne had well balanced acidity and crispness. There were notes of brioche, lemon and orange peel. Good structure on the palate with minerality and fruit.

My dad brought me this wine from Italy. He said that an Italian general who was an old friend gifted it to him.

It was an interesting wine. Nose of caramel, port and hints of cherry. This was almost like a fortified wine. It held well but began disintegrating after the first hour.

My daughter celebrated her 19th birthday and to commiserate this wonderful occasion, we opened up this bottle. Despite not being a vintage year, the wine was outstanding. Tannins were well balanced and structured. A bit of fruit but more earthy flavours. Well done.

Dark garnet red color; leather, vanilla taste with a hint of plum. Tannins have subsided. A bit of a boozy finish.

The wine looks straw colored. The legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like grapefruit and raisin. It tastes like lychee, lime, grapefruit and geranium. The body is light/medium. The wine has flabby texture. The wine finishes short. The wine has low acidity.

This Champagne completely blew me away. It was exquisite, a true joy to share with friends to celebrate an occasion. It was rich, structured yet smooth on the palate. This is the best Dom Vintage I have tried in recent years.
It tastes like biscuity and light toast. It smells like Meyer lemon, pink grapefruit and fig. This really delivers.

I found this wine soft, well structured and packed with smooth, ripe fruit. Nice minerality underneath an exuberant cassis-and-plums aroma.
There is no sediment in the bottle.
It tastes like forest floor, mineral, mushroom and stoniness.

So, maybe I jumped the gun a bit with this wine. I opened up a bottle to complement pacific wild salmon with a Dill sauce and it was way too young. Having said that there were interesting notes of menthol, tart berries and spice. I will wait at least 7 years before trying the next bottle.
