Utterly undrinkable. Like swallowing the contents of an ashtray. As one of the reviewers mentioned, this wine should probably not have been released. I like Anthill Farms wines very much, but I am frankly surprised that the winery's management did not consider the value of protecting the long-term equity of their brand and business more carefully by selling a product that is clearly damaging to the winery's reputation.

Hardly any nose, taste a mess and almost unrecognizable as a Pinot Noir. Not enjoyable. Don't think this was an off bottle but curious to see other reviews over time. Did not finish my first glass and poured the bottle down the drain. Stay away - even at the modest $17 purchase price.

Too big for my taste, but there is no doubt that many will love this.

Brilliant. A wonderful surprise after almost having given up on Barossa Shiraz's as a result of frustration over their lack of character and sense of place. This one displays amazing fruit, distinctive character, wonderful balance and a long, long finish. Added bonus is the restrained alcohol. What a QPR! Highly recommended.

Way too big. 15.2% alcohol, which overpowered the considerable spice and moderate fruit notes. Disappointing.

Excellent. Surprisingly balanced and structured, with aromas of blackberry and chocolate. Long finish. Should continue to develop for 2-3 years.

Gorgeous, pure and concentrated blackberry and black cherry fruit with an earthy note and good acidity to the firm finish. Quite backward. Excellent food pairing. Will try and get more.

Decent but nothing special. Would not buy again at the $26 price point.

Very good. Typical Walla Walla style. Time to drink up.

Beautiful wine. Drank with pork roast for dinner - a real crowd pleaser. Significant tannins give way to solid structure and good balance with extracted fruit. New World style Bordeaux blend that would hold up very well against its French siblings, especially at the price point. Recommend to hold this for another 1-2 years.
