Surprising bottle. Tannins were relaxed, fruit was forward with some residual sugar though not cloying at all. Good backbone for an inexpensive bottle. Will buy again.

Impression of drinking Kool-Aid spiked with alcohol. Popped and poured, and even after having the bottle open for a couple of hours it did not improve at all. I spilled the last glass down the sink (which I RARELY do).

No joy drinking this, ad opposed to the Cab Sauv that is just fantastic.

Super tasty, typical sauvignon blanc. Easily worth twice the price...compares favorably to New World versions.

True that this is the best vinho verde available on the market here in Quebec. Always refreshing, clean and slight carbonation make it a perfect quaffer.

Best enjoyed in small goblet rather than a wine glass ;)

More fruit forward that previous vintages. Missing that bite the older bottles had.

Bottle was opened 45 minutes before drinking, and got better with another half hour in the glass.

Delicious wine, best drunk from an unpretentious goblet.

A little more complete that a (usually great) Vihno Verde, and only slightly more expensive, this wine has it's place especially in the warmer times of the year.

This wine is still alive. This note is being written almost a year later so details are missing.

This was a great bottle of an older Margaux. No decanting, it lasted on the palette but not as long in the glass.

First foray into Washington wines. Better than expected, not as sweet as expected either. Softer and more round that it's Alsatian counterparts, good to drink now for the right price.

My retailer had the 08 and the 09 on the shelves at the same time and I bought one of each...the 09 was actually much better.

Picked this up on a (cheap) whim. GREATLY surprised.

Entirely drinkable and enjoyable, especially for a Canadian red.

I highly doubt another bottle still exists unopened, if it does, crack and enjoy! BBQ fare would be good...

I didn't enjoy this bottle as much as other sweeter incarnations. Drinkable, but too dry for me considering what I like a Madeira to be: an easier drink then port, and not having to drink the bottle in one sitting.
Bottle was finished over a period of 3 months or so, and no noticeable degradation of the wine was apparent.

Fantastic bottle that probably had only a year or two left. Tons of chocolate and spice coming through and the alcohol was muted in very good way. A shame I have no more.

I'm going to start looking more closely at Malbec.

Very clean tasting PN. No harshness and very balanced fruit and acidity. The only red wine I bought on a trip to the Niagara region in 05 as it was the only one that was worth purchasing...glad to see my tastes were keen back then. Excellent wine.

A good amount of residual sugar makes this wine not suitable for all in terms of going along with a meal...most would call this a dessert wine. We found that there was enough acidity and balance to hold it's own. Very floral with hints of fruit flowing through. Very nice.

As well, great with chocolaty desserts.

By far the most unbeatable QPR dessert wine on the market. Honey, apricot, you name it, it's there. We opened 2 bottles and had half of one left that I refridgerated for 4 days. The wine was just as good if not better at that point. Cheap at twice the price.

I don't understand the high ratings given to this wine. Very nondescript, not bad though not really enjoyable either. The bottle was not corked at all, but the enjoyment factor was about equal to one. Will not buy again, even though it's so inexpensive.
Spend the 3 dollars more and buy a Chamine instead.

I've had quite a few bottles of this and it has always been excellent QPR. On opening, noticed stains going up the sides of the cork and the pop wasn't exactly to my liking. The wine was slightly carbonized and fruity almost like a juice. Overheating suspected.
Oh well...on to the next bottle!

Great mix of grapes. Fruit is forward right off the bat but settles down shightly in the glass. Consumed a little too warn, it still drunk like a champ.

Half the price of the vinyards Reservas and just as good.

GREAT Prosecco. Not as dry as Champagne or Cava but way drier than a Moscato D'Asti...just enough residual sugar.
Cheap at twice the price and very easy to drink.

Nice solid Pomerol. Less fruit forward for sure...the wine had thrown a lot of sediment. I'll have to try the 03.

One of the more disappointing bottles of wine I've had in recent memory. Quite thin, light tasting wine. Might have been okay at 1/6 the price. Any Tokaji at all would be many times better. On to a TBA next time.

Actually very nice to drink with dessert (homemade Oreo brownie and homemade sugar pie) and stood up well. Not too sweet...less than a Passito or a Sauternes. Kind of tasted like fruit roll-ups, actually (in a good way!).

This bottle was not flawed physically, though flawed fundamentally.

Many better values out there, especially from France.

Very surprised with this bottle as I wasn't expecting much from this impulse purchase. Good fruit, a little (not too much) wood. I'll have to explore the mouvedre grape a little more.
