Saddle, graphite, cassis, briar and deep black plum on the nose. Deep dark purple color with very thin light edge. This wine has aged gracefully. Complex, layered mouthfeel with hints of black & blue plums, anise, vanilla, dark cocoa, leather with big round tannins and long 30 second finish.

Still drinking well, also picked up pencil shavings on the nose along with past aromas of currant, spice, leather and smoke. Tannins structure still defined leading to lush, lingering finish.

Another example of the longevity of the 2000 vintage. Beautiful golden hue with ripe apple and creamery butter, with a smooth mouthfeel. This wine has improved the last few years but I am glad I didn't wait much longer.

Excellent Chardonnay, with lush, layered flavors of white tropical fruits, spice, butterscotch and caramel. Lovely aromas of pineapple and butterscotch. Nice balancing acidity due to cool vineyard climate. Lingering finish for a chardonnay. Complex, interesting and still drinking extremely well for a 7 year old chard.
