While I don’t believe this wine was flawed, it had some odd flavours I didn’t find appealing.

Very nice bordeaux style blend from Corcelettes. Dark berry and cassis on the nose, still lots of tannin with medium-long finish. My other bottle needs to sit for a 3-5 years.

Nice pinot - easy to drink, not too complex. Opened more fully after 30 minutes in the glass. Cherry on nose, short to medium finish. Some acid with light tannins.

Opened and waited approx 30 min to drink. Similar to the 2017, cherry and classic red fruit (raspberries and strawberries) on the nose with some earthy and vanilla undertones. Softening tannins and moderate acid - well balanced with medium finish. Because this wine is unfiltered / unfined, its cloudy in the glass - I feel this adds to the complexity of wine. Excellent Pinot!

Agree with many of MS86's comments here. Complex and expressive wine. Light in color, vanilla and citrus (lemon) on the nose. Full bodied with soft balanced tannin and acidity. Buttery, creamy taste that goes on and on.

Bright cherry and dark red fruit on the nose. Beautifully balanced tannins and acidity for a pinot. Because its unfiltered / unfined, a little cloudy compared to most pinots, but adds layers of complexity you don't find elsewhere.

Lots of dark red fruit on the nose, but packaged in a structured rhone style syrah (vs. some of the more jammy shiraz) on the nose and palate. Nice balance between the tannin and acidity with medium finish. Can go a few more years in the bottle...

For the price, I honestly like this wine better than the Grand Vin from Osoyoos Larose.

Structured dark cherries and cassis with balanced tannins and acid with minimal time in the glass. Medium long finish. Excellent BC example of a Bordeaux style wine.

Similkameen wines continue to shine. Perhaps thought of as the poor cousin to Okanagan wines, this Orofino red bridge blended wine has good dark red fruit up front with some more complex chocolate / tabacco flavors when aged. Good balance between tannin and acids, medium finish. Drinkable when released, but needs a little time in the glass or decantered. Cellars for 5-7 years easy.

Tasted both the 2013 Alluvia and Silica side-by-side. Group overall liked the Alluvia a little better. Softer tannins and more red fruit, medium finish. The Silica had a stronger character to it - a little more acid and minerality. Both were very good.

Very good balance between the jammy Aussie style shiraz and more balanced Rhone style syrah wine. Bought this at auction and was a little concerned it was past its prime but no, still very good. Some dark fruit - cherry, strawberry, but balanced with secondary flavors of licorice and tabacco. Softened tannins with med finish.

Had this bottle recommended at the Hall Street Grill. Still quite young and took an hour to open up. Very good red fruit (strawberry / raspberry) with medium tannins and medium finish. Looking for more of this - I suspect with a few years in the cellar, it will be very good.
