Tasting at Château Les Carmes Haut Brion. Deep dark concentrated red fruit and earthiness on the nose. Big fruit, graphite, integrated oak. Tight tannins. This 37.5cl bottle was popped and poured without space to breathe. Very closed and tight even with 15min swirling in glass.
You can sense the wine wants to tell a big story, the serving timing did not allow it. Easily 93++
41% Cab Franc, 30% Merlot, 29% Cab Sauv.
