10 years Old and lots of life to come ( but not this bottle ) Typical Bordeaux blend with Merlot in front and very Dark color. Wonderfull nose and tast. Nice to have a star from St.Emilion , do not forget Bordeaux with some age…( note to myself )

Melted butter , soft mature apple , a bit like old apple , not as a bad thing. Big wine and not oxidized - thank god. Not as good as the Batard-Montrachet from the same year.

A Rhone wine ( and I have some ) is not my style these days , the grapes used in these wines are more dark , heavy and missing the elegance and minerality. Still that is a matter of one’s taste 😊

Strawberry , mineral , elegant and not heavy. My only bottle ( 2015 )
but have bought more Faiveley Mercurey. Next time I will wait a bit longer before tasting it or 3-4 hours on carafel.

1/14/19, 10:51 PM - Good morning ( Copenhagen time...) The Clos de Roy is much better with more weight and structure but still the normale one is a good Mercurey. Faiveley make several Mercurey and I think that Clos de Roy is the best ��

Priorat is ( I think ) often a not elegant wine. Often with some edges . This was perhaps a bit too young to start with , but opened up later. Rustic is the word - but still more elegant than the most Priorat. It was a nice and very GOOD wine and I think a few more years will do the trick.

Do NOT drink a lot Priorat , but it Can be very good.
