Had a Hafner 2009 first, good. This second, spice and pepper bomb at first and I like that. So different from Hafner. It’s a 90 Id drink it all day.

Some oak, berries and fruits. Starts to smooth with a beautiful taste. Drank over 2.5 hours. I love this stuff. More like a 92.

Very light, fruit bomb at first, it’s fine wine you can drink it but don’t need to go out of your way for this. Portorello which I tried next to it was much better.

Decanted for 2 hours. First smell reaction was magic, similar to a Great California cab in many ways. Improved with time, dry fruits, some leather, the finish so smooth. I loved this wine and need to try again asap to make sure it’s as good as I think.

The smell gives it away, this is so so average. Has the smell of average and tastes that way. I was excited to prove myself wrong, but this is just maybe drinking wine on a good day. Ugh.
