Unlike the 2019 which is still pretty hot and wild, this one is already a joy to drink. Bramble, blackberry, and a nice acidity backbone. Cheers!
Red
An excellent, easy drinking CF. Slight funk, good acidity.

In a world where most Syrahs are huge beasts, this precise and focused expression is a welcome change. While not incredibly complex, it is certainly delicious and layered enough to hold your attention for a while. I am looking forward to buying more from this producer.
White
Fruit forward and a bit shrill. It feels like it’s lacking in minerality. It’s definitely enjoyable but probably wouldn’t buy it again.

2018 Tenuta delle Terre Nere Etna Rosso Etna DOC Nerello Blend, Nerello Mascalese (view label images)
Bigger and spicier than I what Etna wines have led me to expect. Loads of black cherry and spice. A bit hot on the finish.
Red
Not sure if it was flawed, old, or just not my style, but this was an overripe, over concentrated mess.
White
While not incredibly complex, this wine is very enjoyable. On the riper, rounder side of Cali Chardonnay, but with enough almond and minerals notes.
Red
What a pleasant surprise. An extremely balanced wine in terms of acidity, fruit, and savory notes. Highly recommended.
Red
My fourth bottle of this. What a great wine. Someone else described it as contemplative and I think they are spot on. A wonderful experience. I wish I had bought a case and not a 6-pack.
Red
Really good! I so badly wished I had some pizza to go with this, but I didn’t. This is a food wine. Recommended.
White
A fantastic wine, with layers of stone, almond, grass, apricot, and a hint of raisin on the finish. Buy by the case.

I would have expected a bit more complexity from this Cru Beaujolais. It’s a refreshing and fruity wine. Easy to drink and enjoyable.
Red
Very bright, juicy, and energetic. A simple and refreshing wine. Probably not worth the price tag though.
Red
I can’t believe this is $11. Bright, acidic, and slightly tart. As others have said this is a perfect food companion. Cheers!

This started out REAL hot and unpleasant. After an hour in the glass, acidity and minerality emerged to add a bit of balance. Still fairly primary and rustic. A good daily drinker but not much more.
Red
This is absolutely phenomenal. The only problem: I bought one instead of 12.

Predominantly red fruited with strong cherry notes. It's a good wine but something feels out of balance on the finish, almost brittle or shrill. I am not getting much in the way of tannins or earthy notes as others have commented. Having said that, this is still enjoyable!
White
So good. Refreshing, zesty, zippy, grassy.
Red
Savory and red fruit notes. Light handed winemaking. There’s almost an effervescence to it right now. Can definitely benefit from further aging.
White
Delicious now and will definitely get better with age. Let’s hope I can save some....
Red
This is not my favorite style of Syrah, but nonetheless I really enjoyed it. Very spicy - baking spices and gingerbread. Very full mouthfeel. Red and blue fruits are subtle.
White
Powerfully aromatic wine. Peaches, apricots, all sorts of floral notes. A bit too much bitterness on the finish.
Red
Definitely a step up from their entry level, but still quintessentially Chinon. Hard not to go back for more.

Wow, this is serious. Flint, matchstick, and herbaceous notes. Will need time, but it’s very enjoyable already. Potential for getting much better.
Red
This is absolutely fantastic. 60% Syrah and 40% Roussanne. Luscious mouthfeel and energetic finish. Surprising and delicious.

Easy drinking. Crunchy red fruit, mushroom, violet. Pour some more!

It’s gone. Way too old.
Red
What a fantastic estate cuvée. Rhubarb, cranberry, anise. Wonderful nose of wild strawberry. Lovely.
Red
Scratches the Loire itch at $10! I didnt find this overtly ripe or fruity.
White
Reductive upon opening. Develops into a wonderful, layered, serious wine. This case is going way too fast!

Rosé
Meh. A bit musty and flat. The enjoyment of this otherwise pedestrian wine is boosted by the beautiful spring afternoon.

This is the Loire’s idea of wine for thirst. Light, crunchy, herbal, peppery, and just enough red fruit. Delicious and can’t stop drinking it.

Excellent (and excellently made) village level Bojo. Loads of rhubarb and red fruit. A bit too fruit forward for my taste, but nonetheless an extremely enjoyable bottle.
Red
Not much to add to other reviews - this wine rocks. Will make sure to buy every year.
White
Solid RRV chard. Will benefit from 15-20 minutes of air before drinking.

2013 Matello Fool's Journey Deux Vert Yamhill-Carlton Syrah Blend, Syrah (view label images)
Very interesting cuvée. Much more lively and acidic than I would have expected, especially for an 8-year old Syrah blend. Absolutely recommended... unless you like ripe wines!
Rosé
A nice, “serious” rosé for Mother’s Day. I don’t love it as much as other cuvees from this producer but it is a great wine nonetheless.

Other reviews are spot on. Extremely pleasant if you don’t mind a hint of Brett. Crunchy, juicy.
White
An enjoyable bottle, but not quite the blockbuster I was led to believe based on other notes for this vintage. This wine had a complex, layered, aromatic nose, but lacked a bit on the palate in terms of body. At this price point, German counterparts are knocking it out of the park.
Red
Absolutely loved it.

Good Cali Pinot. Had it over the course of two days and it was pretty consistent. No decant needed. Lots of red fruit, but enough acidity and structure. As with all de Negoce wines, this is a great deal at the case price but would not have been worth the advertised MSRP.

Outstanding Sicilian white. Super aromatic and complex on the nose. Herbaceous and savory. Really loved it.

Decanted two hours. Packs a punch! High acidity, dark fruit, robust tannins, this wine has it all. It’s delicious but a bit too in your face for my taste.

Fresher and much more alive than the 2018.
