decanted for 2 hours. stunning, piercing, soaring aromatics. but it likely will need another 15 years to harmonize. the tannins are very structured right now, but pretty fine. the nose was worth it however. if you have a lot, perhaps crack one. but otherwise resist the temptation.

stunning wine just now starting, i think. another 5 years should open some of the aromatics which are somewhat compact right now. but still a total thrill.

Very classic and typical. Great structure and I'd say approaching maturity but I'll wait for a bit more complexity. There's enough tanning and acidic structure to go much longer. A beautifully classic example.

Love this. Needs a good hour of air. Starts dusty but the fruit comes through like a laser. Very fresh and classic.

Really starting to blossom. Nose is perfection but palate is still a tiny bit compacted. That said it remains a little lean and I'm not sure it will ever be truly great vintage. But man, so what. It's pure Jamet!!

wow - stunning wine and finally starting to unwind. brawny structure but the nose screams chambolle from the rooftop. rich, ripe, and intense. but still on the young side.

This is a wow wine. Very unique. Lighter in weight than a typical Jamet CR but the nose is just so airy and floats from the glass. Intense violet and blood on the nose. A lean and precise palate presence. Finishes long with white pepper and iron. Stunning. And on the young side.

Very strange wine, I've never tasted anything like it. Musty nose that smells like a burgundy cellar and some roasted coffee aromas reminiscent of old Rioja. Very little fresh fruit. Palate presence is fairly intense, but again, a roasted and old mushroom element. With a good decant, the rough tannins round out, but it drinks like a 20 year old wine which is very confusing because the color is correct for the age - quite ruby with a slight purple tinge. The finish has a slight soap taste and the finish is fairly short. Weird stuff. It has sufficient structure and comes off like a wine from the Old World for sure. I doubt I would call this Burgundy blind, let alone a Gevrey 1er. I really don't know what to make of it.

Advanced and slightly bitter. Not really green per se, but certainly not a successful vintage for this wine.

This bottle was a little leaner than last. Perfect airy nose but needs to fill out more. Hands off for a few years at least.

Utterly profound wine. Still rather dark color with overwhelming bouquet of wild flowers and earth. Essence of Morey. Sappy yet lithe with great persistence. On the young side still.

Solid wine needs some air to get going but pretty weak and underwhelming given price and producer. Drink now I guess.

Fantastic wine. Big and rich upon opening, but after about an hour the minerals and spine are shown. Very serious BdB with a very fine mousse and great length.

Great wine but pretty angry right now. Big tannins, fruit is compacted. Nose is amazing. Shocking complexity at this level but leave it alone for a few years.

Drinkable now but takes a surprising amount of time to open up. Fullish with very classic aromas. Not super stylish but excellent nonetheless. Still fairly dark and fairly primary so this is still an adolescent.
