Drank over about 30 mins didn’t even give it a chance to really open up...this stuff is crack...I’ll be homeless soon, cause I’m going to buy as much as I can find!

in a really great spot. from memory; it was slightly lifted which never really blew off, but then again, we didnt really give it enough time to. just barely starting to enter secondary flavor profiles, and the fruit is still big and juicy. this might get slightly better for me as more secondary flavors start to come to the front, but it will be relative...drink now or nicely over the next 10-15 years.

Not at all great...really meh...the nose is certainly more striking than the palate. Don't waste your time

absolutely stunning minerality with flinty matchstick and superb salinity. my only concern with the 07 is that the fruit is somewhat shy. im hoping that it rounds out and builds some weight in the bottle, but it has not stopped me from buying as much of this stuff as i can!!!

impossible to score right now. what a waste of a pulled cork. primary as all get out...decanted for 1 hour, and im not sure one week would have been enough. very unenjoyable at this point. if i didnt know better id be looking to off load the rest...thankfully i know what awaits me in a decade...

if there is one thing this wine is not, it's clipped...this is a very, very long wine. the cab franc is really prevelent, showing dark chocolate, dark berrys, with intense flowers and herbs freshly pulled with the dirt still attached. I really enjoyed this wine...probably didnt let open up fully either...loads of time left with this thing...

Nearly flawless. Consumed at La Tour d'Argent. Packed full of ripe cherry, sour cranberry, and hints of orange peel. The color was stunning with a garnet hue and zero signs of aging. On the nose there was more cherry, wild strawberry and wet clay earth. The price was a steal and the cellars are a site to behold. I can officially die now!

really high toned acidity which was nice, but there was not enough fruit left to balance it out. bing cherry to cranberry was all i could get out of it.

Wow! What a difference 2 years in bottle makes! Please disregard my last note regarding this wine! Man this in incredible! Road tar, pencil shavings, herbs, black cherry and raspberry. Perfectly resolved with zero hard edges. Seamless! Still in shock...so there is hope for Cali cab!!!

not going to score this wine. not my cup of tea at all. this thing was fat and sappy. so one dimensional. reminded me of blueberry syrup that i got from ihop when i was a kid. 2 bottles left, will look to sell

took the wine a long time to give up anything on the nose, and never gave up anything on the palate. the nose was simple showing some kirsh, roasted meat, and black cherry. other than that it was dominated by the oak. this is a hold and a no score

as far as i am concerned, Leroy is the greatest producer of pinot in the world, and this wine is proof of that. even in this, probably the worst vintage that i have run across, it still manages to carry the leroy signature profile of perfume and spice. i will say no more because the 5 prior notes have encapsulated this wine to a "t".

White peach, lychee, spun honey, and rose water. Big body that overshadows the acid just a hair. Going to be a stunning wine in ten years, but there is no reason to hold off if you're curious!

man i wanted this to be better. i went back and forth whether or not there was a tiny bit of tca. i love big yeasty aged champers, but that slight tinge of waffling made it difficult to concentrate on anything else.

not as fresh as the 88 i recently had, but still a damn fine drink. golden hue, massive baked apple with freshly baked wheat bread with a caramel oxidative note that you wouldn't want to be anymore than it was. bubbles were exactly where i would expect them to be at this point. would definitely buy again, but the 88 is slightly better.

this is truely a bummer! the folks that are involved with this winery are extremely lovely people. however, this wine is falling way way short of my expectation. about the only thing this wine is offering is a loaf of whole wheat bread and a giant baked apple...no spices, just a plain baked red apple. it's a very clumsy wine. definitely not near as being as refined and wonderful as its producers...sad! instead, try the NV rose, WOW, not thats a drink at a third of the cost...

WOW! fully mature with a medium golden color showing of apples, cinnamon toast, almond paste and caramel. very creamy with amazing mouth feel. there are still an amazing amount of the tiniest of tiny bubbles and the acidity is extremely mouth watering! sad to see that one go!

not going to rate at this point. this wine has a lot of potential though. very bright red fruits with very crisp almost citrius acid. the nose is almost there, but palate is still a little shy. i like where this wine is headed

another great showing of this bottle. classically rustic, fine tannin, showing black cherry and just a hint of pruned fruit. on the nose there is leather dusty mocha and dried clay. this wine stylistically pushes all of my hot buttons!

sadly, this wine is not holding up nearly as well as the les folatieres or the combettes, but it's still a nice drink...there's a freshness that is still with the other two that is not present here. it's taking on more wieght, and becoming more honeyed. candied pineapple is there with only a hint of flintiness. this is the second of 12, and they will go faster than expected.
