The wine was garnet with light ruby highlights. It was 13.4 % alcohol had some sediment the leggs were thick and sticky indicating high viscosity.
The nose was wonderful and complex with black licorice, roses, overripe red fruits, underbrush, and vanilla. There was quite a bit going on.
The palate was underwhelming, The wine was dry with tight tannins and sharp acid. I tasted no fruit but cigar box, earth and maye time needles. It paired well with chocolate but was not good on its own. The wine needs at least 4 more years in the bottle.

The wine was medium garnet with no sediment and medium viscosity. It had 14% alcohol. On the nose there was a medium intensity aroma of strawberry, sweet tobacco and chocolate with a chaser of earth.
I found the wine to be dry, light bodied with a medium long finish. I tasted espresso, pomegranate, cedar and under ripe plum. The taste started with fresh fruit and ended with a sour taste much like grapefruit pith. The wine lacks complexity and had soft tannins and prominent acid. Good value for an everyday wine.

The wine was pale tawny at the core and orangey at the rim. The viscosity was low, no sediment and alcohol was 13.5 %
On the nose there was a yeasty smell although the wine was in good condition. The bouquets were of cranberry, sour cherry, almonds and moss. The intensity was low.
On the palate the taste was underwhelming with a short finish. The tannins and alcohol were low and the acid medium. The body was light and generally mellow. I tasted iron, leather, and cranberry.
This is akin to a table wine. I would not buy it again. It paired well with a cheese and meat charcuterie platter. I do not think this wine will improve with age.

I bought this brunello to see if this producer and winery had a wine that fit my taste profile.
The wine was blood red at the center and deep garnet at the rim. There was a slight sediment observed, was in good condition and the viscosity was high.
The wine was of medium intensity and the aromas were of plum ,black cherry ,anise, and forest floor. There was a hint of cigar box, thyme and moss.
On the palete I observed med to high tannins with medium acid and alcohol. The wine was well balanced with smooth velvety tannins. The tannins were not chunky or bitter. The wine was dry or off dry and I tasted plum, cocoa, anise, and black cherry. The wine had a long finish and was complex and evolving.
It was a pleasure to taste and I will be procuring more from this producer and winery. This vintage is drink now but I believe it will continue to age well for the next year or two. It pairs well with rich fatty food.
