Solid red. On nose abundant fruit and pencil lead, which follows through on taste. Cherry, cranberry fruit. Soft tannins. Bit split on rating, 87-90, this is on the fruity side of pinot which for us tones the rating down.

Good value Nebbiolo. Solid crimson. Cherry and wood on n the nose, almost brandy like. On taste, similar, notable tannins, very quaffable. Went well with mushroom risotto.

A v good full bodied red. Dark. On nose hit by the wood, but not overly packed. Lovely balance of wood, fruit and spice. Great winter wine. Fun label also. Split between 89 and 90, either way, it's lovely.

The nose is to die for, floral leafy aromas that I struggle to pin down. Nettles. Raspberry. Some saltiness, sea-weed.
On taste, smooth but notable acidity, paired well with steak and pink peppercorn sauce. Fruit is well balanced with spice, smokiness, there is some sweetness but also a wonderful freshness. We loved this.

Deep red.
On nose, changed with time, initially more fruit, but became funkier within an hour or so with strong herbal, hay/lavender/garrigue notes, bit barn yardy.
On taste, similar, matches the nose.
Could be smoother, still some acidity

Mid straw colour
Not too much on the nose, fresh pear
Good legs
Good balance of fruit, almond, lovely.

This is one of the silkyest wines I've had, v smooth.
I preferred it on day two, I found a vanilla flavour quite powerful, so not my preferred flavour profile, but v refined otherwise.

Good, while a light body quite a solid dark red. Not much on the nose. Nicely balanced fruit, tannins and acidity. Nothing overpowers. Great served 18deg with an alfresco lunch.

Like most Priorats we did enjoy this.
Solid crimson red, belies a lightness of body.
Nose, quite herbal, rosemary, bit of oak?
Taste, dry, fruit (sour cherry?), green pepper, quite a lot the going on. Moderate acidity. Quaffable.
Not the smoothest Priorat but tasty and v enjoyable at this price point..

Pale white, doesn't give much away on the nose.
Hard to describe this. Quite a bit of acidity but a pleasant mouth feel, interesting taste but quite one dimensional we thought. Pleasant, but taste is subtle. Maybe we're missing something?

Pale straw colour, Amazing nose, reminds me of a some Bordeaux sauvignon, pineapple, but also some maritime salninity, and minerals: inticing. On taste good balance of creamy butteriness and acidity. Slight zing. Apple and pineapple fruit for me. 88-89.

Scarlet red.
On nose , some fruit, oak, alcohol, but not giving much away.
Wonderful mouth feel, voluptuous yet dangerously quaffable. Smokey, blackberries, plum, green pepper.
Plenty going on. Taste better than aroma.
Would not have guessed 15%.

Deep crimson. On the nose doesn't give much away, a bit of rubberyness and a little fruit (strawberry?). On taste, great balance of acidity, mild tannins, spicy, smoky. Very quaffable. Stood up to a chilli. V good.

Pale bright red
On nose, green pepper and fruit
On taste, wonderfully quaffable, maybe pencil shavings, like a good Pinot, but probably cheaper. We didn't want it to end which is always a good sign.
Overall we liked this. Would like to compare with other Nerollo Mascalese.

Wow, this exceeded expectations.
On the paler side, pale straw.
The nose... wow, what is it? Lychee, salty, white peach.
Good legs/viscosity.
Taste... so wonderfully salty, maybe some orange zest, white fruit, very distinctive.
Enjoyed with kedgeree.
Excellent.

Mid-pale straw colour, not much on the nose, almondy? On taste, initially slightly spritzig, good viscosity, pear. Very drinkable. Enjoyed with baked sea bream with pink pepercorn. Pretty good VFM.

I have time for Pinotage and this is an interesting cheaper example. On day one I'd give this 85, some pinot like pencil shaving taste, quite interesting, v drinkable. Day two it seemed to have changed a lot, with a more chemical taste I didn't like, 79.

We loved this, served with a kedgeree.
Wonderful dark yellow with hint of orange. Good legs. That butteryness without sweetness, balanced with a modicum of acidity. Apricot. Delicious. And, amazing VFM on when sale.
