Wish I had the same experience that some of the others had. Was flat and a little grapey.

Wine is kicking right now. Well balanced from the get go. Full bodied. The pepper taste from when I first had this two years ago is not as strong, but also didn't need the time to open up either. Wish I had more.

Don't know how to explain this other than bottle was undrinkable. I am withholding my rating in case it was just a bad bottle, but I don't think so.

Nice bottle and very good QPR. Tannins were just about right. Only negative was the average finish. Would be happy drinking this again

This bottle was perfectly well balanced with a long finish. Tannins have faded to something nice. Drinking real well right now.

Best of a few wines that were opened one night. Somewhat fruit forward, but really well balanced with nice smooth finish.

Nice everyday bottle. Not high end, but great QPR. Medium color. Dark berry, a little funky which gave it more complexity than something fruit forward. decent finish. A good bottle to share over dinner, especially steak or chicken.

Nice wine. Good QPR. Violet color. Creamy and medium body. Taste like black cherries/blueberry flavor. Nice finish with smoe tannins that will help this develop over time, but I was happy drinking now. Enjoyed and would purchase again.

Same as last time although I enjoyed it a little more this time. Popped and poured, fruit forward and tastes like plum. Opens up quickly, but does not improve over a couple hours, so drink it up. Would still feel comfortable serving to most guests. Medium body and short finish. Great price and should stock up on more.

Had this bottle chasing a pretty strong Barbera. It did a nice job of keeping up. Still good spiciness on the finish. This would go great with steak.

I am not typically a Chardonnay drinker, but I liked this one. Not as oaky as some. Pretty good balance.

Nice ruby color. Nothing great about the bouquet, a little earthy, but not much more. However, this wine is delicious. This wine needs an hour to decant. Then it has a taste of dark berries (blackberry?). What I really liked though was the silky smooth medium body, great balance and soft finish. Highly recommended.

Bright red color. Nice spicy aroma. Medium body. Dark berry and peppery flavor. I was definitely expecting the peppery flavor to dissipate into something tannic and cloying, but instead it lingers and gently fades. Really enjoyed this and at this price will be picking up more.

Full bodied. Dark color. Smell of coffee and tobacco. Black fruit and slightly peppery taste. Nice long finish. Needs a minimum of 45-1 hour to open up. Iit was difficult waiting that long, but well worth it.

Thoroughly enjoyed this well balanced wine. Cannot believe how little I paid for this. Wife thought it must have been a $40 bottle.

Agree with the others. This was a fairly cloudy dark wine. Nice bouquet, but can't really pin it down. I'll pay more attention next time. Flavors of cocoa and cherry. Nice finish too.

Took about half an hour to open up. Earthy with notes of sour cherry, but not bitter. The smell was nothing special. Finish was decent, maybe a little off balance. I would try and drink this in one sitting as it doesn't seem as if it would get better over a couple days. Not a bad bottle for $10.

This is one of the best bottles I have had. Decanted for about 45 minutes. The high merlot content allows it to be more drinkable now than most bordeaux. Wonderful bouquet of oak, cloves and mocha. Taste is complex and smooth. Dark fruit and medium to full bodied. Perfectly well balanced finish. Might even get better.

Was looking for something to pair with spicy thai food which can be difficult. Was a little scared at first since this comes with a beer bottle type top (no cork). Lots of citrus fruit and acidity. Cut perfectly through the spiciness of the food. Bought a couple more bottles for a similar situation and a great value on a 1 liter bottle.
