Not a huge amount of fruit through the length, but enough up front to make this easily drinkable right now.

Plenty of cream, lees, toasted nuts, and some fruit zest on the nose. Nice rounded softness to the palate. Acidity is perhaps a little too sharp and off balance, especially through the finish. Time to drink up.

Secondary savory and leathery notes. Soft fruit palate. Actually drinking nicely even if it does still come up a little short.

Drank the whole bottle without realizing it. Effortlessly easy to drink, with its light fruity palate. Recommend drinking up now. Don't think it has the structure to get much better.

Generous fruit. Big tannic structure. Lots of cedar wood and spice. Somewhat earthy feel to it too.

Light and earthy, not my preferred style of pinot. Very different to the one I tasted at time of purchase (2016). Seemed a touch short too, perhaps indicating a wine that needed to be drunk young.

Notes of honey, nuts, cream, and something mineral. Initially feels off dry on the palate, with a chunky attack and mid palate. Finishes dry with a nice length.

Tasted alongside the Granit 30 from the same vintage. The fruit here is much denser, richer, more black pepper spice, and for longer ageing.

Tasted alongside the Granit 60 from the same vintage, and you can notice the difference. Lighter, with some earthy notes. Touch of black pepper, nice acidity.

Rich and oily. Dense. Nutty, perhaps waxy. Ridiculously great value for how well this has aged!

Almost 20 years old and still young and lively. Excellent depth of fruit, a touch of honey nut sweetness, a searing mineral acidic backbone, and very long. Gonna give my last bottle another couple of years or so.

Still beautifully poised and with life ahead of it. Bags of spicy stone fruits. Tastes sweet on the initial attack, but finishes dry. Very long.

Certainly on its plateau and drinking nicely. More developed notes and flavors than the fruit forward bottles I tried over the past few years. Feel like it needs to be drunk colder than maybe usual to avoid it coming across as flat and flabby. Certainly a nice aperitif.

Lovely fresh and bright, slightly herbaceous fruit. Nice depth. Great acidity, making it wonderfully drinkable. Will evolve for sure.

Pure and precise. Attractive peppery black fruit. Lovely thru the mid palate, with generous lift. Nothing big and likely for drinking over next 2-3 years.

Crowd loved this wine, and it certainly didn't disappoint again. Red fruits and cherries about. Rounded texture to the palate. No rough edges. Has a lovely depth thru the palate. Leaves you wanting more.

Funky, earthy and oaky nose, which is nowhere to be found on the palate. Sweet ripe fruit, very polished mouthfeel, slips down effortlessly. Some savory touches on the finish. Drinking well now.

Bottle purchased in 2016. Had developed notable secondary aromas, somewhat like an ageing pinot. More earthy, forest floor, than fruit. But still a very nice wine if you like those characteristics.

Hands down beat 2004's from Lagrange and Poyferre that were tasted alongside. Slightly sweet, relatively fresh, density of fruit. Nice mid palate, very refined. Good acidity and integrated tannic structure holds it all together. A very good effort for 2004 vintage.

Drank alongside 2004's from Lagrange and Leoville Barton. Beat the Lagrange for density of fruit but lagged the Barton for freshness. Secondary aromas and flavors. Has sufficient oomph to go another 3-4 years.

Nice chardonnay. Somewhat reminiscent of a Chassagne. Floral notes, maybe some honey. A touch of buttered toast. Significant minerality, yet also opulently rounded.

Gave this bottle a lot more air time than the prior bottle I had just two weeks prior. And I think it helped. Fruit was certainly more expressive with sufficient power and density to give it another couple of years maybe. Somewhat made up for the disappointment of the last bottle!

Still going well and has life ahead of it yet. Fruit smells and tastes much more developed, but there's still a deep and rich core of fruit, plenty of acidity, and a grippy tannic structure. Nonetheless, it is still drinking well right now too.

Somehow I came away feeling let down. Seemed very light on the palate, easily drinkable with just about enough fruit, but not what I'd expect from a Bordeaux, let alone a Pauillac. Past its drinking window?

First bottle from the case, some 5 years after purchasing it. I must have too much wine, or maybe I'm not drinking enough. Anyway, waiting was well worth it. Wine is drinking superbly right now. Very pleasant red fruit aromas, with strong savory notes. Rich palate, still has a lot of fruit, with a fresh, fairly lively mouthfeel. Seemed to slip down effortlessly, all the way to the end of the bottle.
