Tried a second bottle- and again: ok but not my wine. I read the il Poggiale is supposed to be a tpical old fashioned Chianti- it is not. On the nose the wine is ok but nevertheless a bit too floral and too sweet. On the palate mouthfilling, fleshy, creamy - not the well structured and sometimes edgy i would expect from a good riserva. If i would have asked my guess would have been Merlot/cabernet sauv and South America ...
