Still holding up. Needs a good hour to decant, then opens up beautifully. One more to go.

This wine was amazing. Rich, full, just the right amount of oak. The age wagreat and could even go a bit longer. Loved it!

This was one of the best wines from Ontario. It was really great, smooth, full of flavour and body. I would highly recommend this wine. I hope later vintages are as good as this one!

This wine really aged well. A lot better then a few years ago. It is a classic CDR with all the best characteristics. Wish I had more.

This bottle was consumed with BBQ'd cedar plank salmon. It went very well with the food. The wine had a solid body with a nice nose. I gave it an 88 because it was lacking something. It's structure was not complete. Don't get me wrong it was a delightful wine. I would buy more from this producer. Drink now or hold another year.

This wine was a huge surprise for me. I was not expecting much, but it blew my expectations out of the water. It was well aged, smooth, structured and not overly fruity. A very well showing. I would buy this one again. Wonderful on it's own or with cheese.

This wine has really mellowed out. I think it has another year left in it, but you may be risking it. Aging this bottle went added a few points to my rating.

Fantastic bottle of Burgundy. Aged very well, but does not have much longer. I would say drink it within a year and a half. Decanted for an hour before drinking. A very classic example of a mellowed out burgundy. Delish.

A near perfect bottle of wine. I don't know if I could ever give a wine a perfect score of 100, but if I ever did, this one would be close!
This bottle still has a lot of ageing left. Too bad I only had one. A splendid fully bodied Bordeaux that is perfectly balanced and just the right amount of acidity and tannins. I tasted a bit of earthiness, smoke and a touch of oak. I felt like royalty drinking this wine!

What an amazing treat. To drink a wine on your birth year. This wine has aged with grace and elegance. Almost impossible to describe how this wine has stayed structurally sound for 36 years. A bit of a rustic wine with lots of character and brilliant flavours. A wine to be remembered.

What an amazing surprise. This bottle of Northern Italian wine has evolved beautifully. It is now perfectly balanced with just the right amount aftertaste. After 3 years in my cellar and 7 years of age in the bottle, I was a little sceptical since it is not a powerhouse varietal. Upon popping the cork and taking my first breath in through my nose, I knew I had a winner. The flavours are subdued with a hint of mocha and cherry. I wish I had more of this elegant wine. I will be looking for more from this producer.

I really enjoyed this Chiante. It has aged nicely in the bottle and could be drunk right now. To me, it was a fuller bodied Chianti with nice hints of oak. It was blended very well. I would buy this again and drink now.

This is a very easy drinking wine. A medium body and a nicely balanced structure is sure to please. Remember, this is not a full bodied structure wine. With that in mind, it will go down very nicely with appys, cheese and pasta.

What a great treat to open a 15 year old wine. I did not know what to expect, but this wine was fantastic. It took about 2+ hours to open up, but once it did, it drank beautifully. It was well balanced and full of rich berries. Wish I had a few more. It is hard to keep a wine that long!
