Beautiful fruit and tannin, much better than the last one I opened which was all funk. Probably just a difference in storing conditions. Saved the best for last!

I was really looking forward to opening this, but it was pure sherry. A little bit raisiny but just gross. Down the drain after one sip :(
Red
2003 Château Pontet-Canet Pauillac Red Bordeaux Blend (view label images)

Phenomenal left bank Bordeaux. Drinking well now and will be for years to come. Wish I had opened and left it to decant earlier, as it opened up immensely over a few hours. We finished most of it off very quick though.

Not very impressive for the cost from LCBO

Nothing to write home about. A bit of graphite and green pepper off the cab franc. Overpriced from the LCBO though in my opinion

It's not bad at all for $15 CAD. A little tart. Lemon-lime long finish.
Might have been disappointed if I had paid $5 more, but for what it is it's a nice easy drinking approachable white to pop open at any time.

Woody complexure, oak but well complemented and especially smooth. Slight hint of some graphite. Just delicious and quite good right now QPR

Nothing super impressive at this point. I'll revisit in about 3-4 years. Appley, with a little yeast, baking spice and just a premonition of some oxidization. Silky smooth though as I would hope for a real champagne.

This one tastes like it will be good in 5 years or so. It will be interesting to try the '07 I've got

Tastes like some failed homemade batch. Unfortunately. A hint of Kalamata olives, but otherwise just unpalatable really

Bubblegum, floral. Really not too complex or interesting

Matchstick and rubber on the nose. Plum and spice. Excellent minerality. Hints of wet wood and seashells. Very smooth and delicious wine all around

2018 Antinori Chianti Classico Pèppoli Chianti Classico DOCG Sangiovese Blend, Sangiovese (view label images)
Nothing to write home about. Disappointingly bland for a CC, especially with the name Antinori on it (albeit in small writing).
Some strong cranberry on the nose and palate. Fine for groups with a less sophisticated palate .There are other Chianti's and reds for less that you could open for these folks though.

Better after being open 24 hours. Great value for the money.
Blackberries, cassis and plum. Great with a spaghetti dinner

I thoroughly enjoyed this wine with a beef Bourgognon inspired dish. It was a little zinny like a mid-range primitivo. More depth though. Fruit, especially cranberry with some cherry. It was sweeter than I was expecting. Decanted for 5 hours or so before.

Some oxidization with hints of toasted brioche. Very mild vanillin/American oak taste. Apricot and pineapple. Delicious and a lovely finish.

Not super impressive. Lychee fruit. Gave away second bottle as a gift to a couple who drink girls night out generally
