Absolutely spectacular. Fruit, acids & tannins perfectly integrated. Lingered on the palate. Gilles you are a fantastic wine maker!

Should probably wait another year or so or decant. Acids and tannins were dominant, but not overly so. Day 2 the wine was spectacular - hats of to Lewis the wine maker. Rating was for day 2.

This is the 2nd wine we've tried from Matt and loved it. Nice old world funk on the nose and pallet. Elegant and earthy with red fruit. Tannins, fruit and acid well balanced, probably has a few more years to go.

First night we felt the wine was not balanced and didn't have hope for it getting better. However we were wrong and is drinking nicely.

A tale of 2 wines. Opened on the first night and it seemed as if there was no balance between fruit, acid and tannins. Vacu vined the bottle and on the 2nd day was very nice

Started out as if it needed more time in the bottle, but it was still interesting. However by the end of the bottle it was all acids and tannins.

A decade and a year and it was definitely past its prime. The first few sips were wonderful, but quickly downhill afterwards. With one more bottle we will pull out the coravin and enjoy in small quantities.

still very young, nice fruit but overpowered by acids and tannins. Decanted and left to sit for an hour or two it would be drinking quite nicely.

Still drinking nicely as we struggle with DeLillw. Prices up and age-ability of wines less. Production also heading to 40k + cases. This from some who has taste their original release.

Fully agree with the last several posts. We visited the winery a couple of months ago and it reinforced why they are our favorite Pinot producer. Went beautifully with butternut squash, Sicilian sausage risotto.

I continue to struggle with this wine. Very nice out of the bottle, but fairly quickly it got to being dominated by cherry fruit and little acid or tannins to support.

I struggled with this wine. Right out of the bottle the cherry came through, but also unpleasant acids and tannins. After preserving the wine, the 2nd day brought promise fruit still there and acids and tannins complemented nicely. Within 10 minutes, the wine became fruit and nothing else.

Harsh tannins and acids dominate fruit to the point where you almost can't recognize it. Not much better the next day.

Better than the 2009 Chaleur Estate, but not up to my expectations for the wine. It didn't seem as if the fruit, acids and tannins were very balance (dominated by acids and tannins). We struggled to see how it would get better. Day 2 after inerting the wine tried it and while not what I would expect for Harrison it was decidedly better. Have a few more bottles and will let them sit for a while longer.

Same story as last bottle. Okay has gone down hill a little. Acids, fruit and tannins start out balanced, but not very interesting. Air helps to a point and then down hill fairly quickly.

Another surprise after the 2010 and 2011 versions. Fruit has faded with still not to unbalanced by the acids and tannins. Like all Chaleur Estates (08, 09, 10, 11) tasted there is little to no life left.

After our unpleasant experiences with the 2010 and 2011 versions the 2009 was a pleasant surprise. While definitely not at its prime it was enjoyable, but definitely will not last much longer. Darker red fruit with lively tannins

Partially agree with Bouddi26 on mouthfeel and chalkiness. Our bottle seemed to be dominated by an unusual tannin/acid double hit which while not really unpleasant it was decidedly distracting. At this great price I'm going to buy a few more and let them sit a few years.
