Good but still a lot of wood. Feels more left bank to me, very concentrated, lots of sediments. Good potential but definitely wait at least 10 years for the wood to digest.

Alcool is 16.5% and it tastes like it. Overripe fruit, fat and dense. I guess it’s a style some would love but really not my style.

Not overly complex but still very good QPR. Notes of fresh plastic, animal game, Coca Cola. Would drink 2-3 years earlier though

Cheers,

Drinking amazingly right now, top QPR, exactly what you expect from village CDB. Drink now til 2025

Rating here reflects QPR. Slight bricking on the rim, red brownish color. On the nose, wow, perfectly ripe cherries and obvious coca cola with some petroleum vicks (the thing you put on your throat when you’re sick). You get that this has age but acidity and fruit is still very much present. This is in perfect balance between fruit, secondaries and tertiaries, and for the price… I don’t remember being that satisfied. I would say open now and have a fkn blast. Cheers!

Not bad aromas of crème pâtissière but disappearing fruit and no more acidity, making it a little boring. 87 today but could’ve been a 90-91 4-5 years ago. Not a 12-13 year cellaring wine — good to know for owners of younger vintages.

Well and alive! Served blind, people evoked Bourgogne, then went to Italy and came back. No particular tasting notes, was just an enjoyable wine. If stored in good conditions, this is still very good and still has a few years ahead of him. No tertiary, just nice and lively red fruit and a hint of minéralité. Cheers!

Well and alive! Honey, waxy, oily, not overly complex and long but very decent for a 23yo white wine. Very satisfying

Gotta love that style of nature white wine but wonderfully structured, right amount of flint and reduction, pure minéralité, flavourful, aromatic (white flower, pear), well balanced, just beautiful work from the producers. Buy eyes closed.

Nose is very expressive, still some red fruit and seems complex. Cuts short in the palate, but still enjoyable. Acidity is medium high and tannins are very fine. Not much tertiary, although it shows maturity, still with the fruit, it’s alright. Starting to smell like tomato plant, you know what that means - drink up people ✌️

First nose gives you yellow apple. After a few minutes in the glass you get some white flowers and honey. Then some crème pâtissière. I see what the other comments mean, lacks a bit of tension but still the aromatics are very complex and nice. In the mouth it’s all about honeydew melon and honey that last for 2-3 minutes. That is crazy. Oily texture, you indeed taste the wood but nothing like à US chardonnay. Overall an enjoyable wine. 90-91 (note shouldn’t be about personal appreciation but about the (most possible) objective quality of the wine).

One of the best Pinot I’ve had, fresh, lively, super aromatic, floral, acid but just enough to keep it tight. Someone talked about Bizot like aromatics and though I’ve never tasted Bizot’s wines, this tasted like freakin heaven. Claire Naudin being his wife, pretty sure he had something to do with this. Hands down 95 and a wonderful QPR ratio. Just drink it, don’t let this go anywhere else.

Smoked meat and bacon with some red crispy fruit, lively acidity and good tanins structure. Great showing but will improve over 10 years. 92-93 potential but hold for now.

Light yellow color, ultra mineral on the nose, everybody guessed Bourgogne chardo - Chablis 1er. Well balanced acidity, yellow oxidized apple, just a treat. 94 ++, pnp now or wait 3-5 years but a wonderful chenin blanc

1.5L. Deep purple colour and no bricking despite the 15 years of age. Nose of black fruits, rich oak and a little bit of mint. Rich and concentrated texture, tannins fully resolved, a bit inky, and flavours of black fruits and oak, as the nose let it presage. I don’t know who put the drinking window til 2017 but to me this has another 5-10 years to go. Good wine and excellent QPR. Cheers!

Bourguignonne signature for a more than decent price, sharp minerality, bright fruit and mushrooms even at a very young age. Very high QP ratio. Drink now and for the next three years

Day 1 : a lot of wood but well balanced by red fruit (berries, strawberries) and nice acidity.
Day 2 : the fruit’s gone!! Acidity too... Almost like a flat 7up...
Day 3 : don’t know yet but I don’t have much expectation, I’m very curious and hopeful, as this is a great producer (his “Mes Favorites Vieilles vignes is flawless).

All and all, a good week wine. Cheers!
