Tastes like milk chocolate with a tang. Great if you like that sort of thing.

I'm a Barbera fan and this did not disappoint. Classic California style Barbera.

Well balanced, not to fruit forward. Well integrated. A little closed on the nose. Could benefit from a few more years in the cellar, but drinkable now.

Though quite drinkable, I thout there was a bitterness to it that detracted from my overall enjoyment. Had that taste of too many stems or seeds le in the mix.

Intense apricot flavor with beautiful golden to coppery color. A little like drinking liquid apricot jam. If you enjoy desert wines, this is definitely one worth trying.

Slightly sweet with bubbles. Was a big hit at Thanksgiving going through three several bottles quickly. There are definitely some interesting flavors to discover if there is any left once it warms up a bit. A

Enjoyable, nice fruit. Predominately cherry with some other berries as well. I didn't get the smoke which others have indicated which would make sense given the vintage. Definitely something to open and drink. Didn't hold up quite as well the second day. Drinkable but much less bright.

Starts with a tart lemon but then begins to show the sweet characteristic of an Alsacien Pinot Gris. If you enjoy the Alsacien style, this is a great example.

I enjoyed this wine quite a bit. However, I like a lot of fruit in my wines this was bursting with tastes of cassis and cranberries. I had this at cellar temperature while soaking in the hot tub and it was just what the doctor ordered.

Fell a little flat with the bitterness of a Viognier but without the apricot and other fruit flavors I love about the wine. Drinkable, but not my favorite.

Quit hot but a lot of jammy berry flavors helps balance the wine. I preferred the 2006 vintage though.
