Linear red fruits pinot. Second pour from different bottle was more open with some darker fruit and depth. Complex and a food wine atm.

Blousey compared to the estate, clearly more oak, but acidity balanced in long finish. A wine which stops you in your tracks. I think this could age beautifully.

Opened up nicely, the structure is still dominating the fruit, I wonder if it will get to be balanced before it fades. For now good not great.

Couldn't believe it's 23 years old. Cassis on the nose and a long palette. There's a edge of green, acidicity and tobacco which could be cab franc. Real charmer
