Aromatically - Clearly Burghound needs a lesson on what Brettanomyces smells like or it bloomed in bottle. Very disappointing, as the palate was also marred by the brett with a bitterness through the finish.

Aromatically - Blueberry, marionberry, and a high amount of toast (currently slightly too high, but should integrate with time). This is a full bodied wine on the palate with initially a huge amount of fine grain tannin. With an hour the wine softens and rounds out. The palate has good depth, concentration and most of the components are integrated (it could have had slightly less Etoh). Very pleasant.

Aromatically - narcissus, violets, wax, and cedar aromas with a hint of red cherry. The palate is ripe, round, and full. With dark color. This wine has both good structure and volume with very fine grain tannin. It could use a touch more acid, but that is a vintage trait for some chateaus. A very nice wine, but a bit young. 94.

Initially the low concentration of Brett was masking much of the wines identity and purity(showing mainly tobacco aromas). After 4 hours of decant the brett aromas almost receded entirely, showing pure red cherry with a touch of ripe strawberry with a heavy dose of heavy toast barrel charr. On the palate following the decant this wine is thick and unctuous. With ripe cherry flavors, a lively balanced acidity and plenty of tannin to age. 95+

(Post 11 hour decant) Aromatically - waxy rasberry compote, kirsch, crayon, dried herbs, sweet blonde tobacco, and faint toasted oak. On the palate briary red and blue fruit, a good volume on the entry through the finish, M+ structure, good minerality, nice coating of tannin, a very elegant reserved style of CDP. Upon the pop and pour I was dissapointed as the wine was very closed and showing barely a medium body. Strongly recommend decanting hours in advance. This should age well for around 10 years. 93-94

Aromas of plum, berries, some raisin and other higher tone fruit. On the palate medium bodied, good volume, low structure, a medium finish. Some alcohol shows. 91-93.

cassis and cassis bud aromas, faint leather, charming toasted oak, and cranberry aromas. On the palate this wine has a medium plus density with a good structure and medium volume. It is very balanced, low etoh, and has nice structure in the finish. It should age for many years to come.

A tight wine, with a reticent aroma profile of cassis bud, and anise. On the palate a medium body, seamless integration, and good purity. The wine seemed to be very tight and unforgiving. We drank it over a 2.5 hour period and it probably should have been decanted for much longer. 93

Pop and Pour - Aromas of high toned dried fruit, dark plum, dried cherry, and lavendar and some oak. On the palate medium body, brisk acidity. This wine carries itself very much like a 05 middle-class burgundy. I will not purchase this vintage again.

Cedar, loam, iron, burning embers, tobacco, soy, red cherry, white peach, time ->brighter fruit. Palate - cassis, cherry, grilled oak, iron, dense fine grain tannin, very coated tannin, in five years this will be seamless although a pleasure young.

slightly reticent yet pure aromas of raspberry, cranberry, pencil lead, blueberry, and current. This wine has enormous volume without weight. brisk acid and pure red and blue fruit flavors with a high concentration of very fine grain tannin and some burning embers flavors. This is a baby. Nice long finish. Nice. 94+.

Aromatically - spring flowers, iron, faint leather, warm barrel toast, and blue and red berries. It is very pure elegant and alluring aromatically. It is not as dark as I would have expected but it makes up for this with purity and elegance. On the palate medium plus body, with a vibrant acidity, and flavors of minerals, and blue fruits. The palate has a very fine grain ripe coated tannins. This wine has incredible elegance and purity. 97

Aromatically - Violets, lavender, and lilac and faint blueberry. On the palate black currant and tart cherry on a medium + density. A nice sweet midpalate without being superficial or clumsy. lots of fine grain tannin in the finish so it is a bit tight right now. Shows good pedigree and will be great once it sheds its shell. 94-95

Aromatically - graphite, burning embers, incense, fig, smokey aromas, grilled bread blueberries and cream. On the palate a large volume and quite structured with lots of tannin but nice fine grain tannin. sleek silky entry expansive mid palate and then dusty high concentration of tannin with earthy flavors over the finish. Big bodied reductive wine. Needs decanting. I would like a bit more fruit on the palate. 91-94

Aromatically - Licorice, cassis, rose bud, and a bit of stemmyness. On the Palate very pure rustic unadulterated flavors of black fruits, incense, licorice. The tannins are medium grain in the finish, the etoh is low and it is not a sweet hedonistic style of wine but very food friendly and pure.
92. I think that the tannins are a little wide grain and this wine is going to dry out with age. Rating is for the aromas

Aromatically - perfectly ripe pure strawberry, and some faint simple spice and a bit of barrel toast very simple aromatics. On the palate nice balance density, sweetness, etc. but this wine lacks complexity. It is ripe balanced and enjoyable but does not have any major alluring qualities which is should have for the price of entry. Vastly over-rated. 92-94

Aromatically - slightly green aromatics, sunflowerseed, schist, some oak and faint black fruit and faint tobacco. On the loamy tobacco flavors are in the forefront, it is medium plus density, the tannins are relatively ripe with a little unresolved tannin in the finish that should fade with time. A little etoh on the finish.

Aromatically - a little brett but in this wine it compliments it and added complexity. aromas of straw, leather, apple, and cinnamon. On the palate this wine has a super soft enviting entry and mid and is extremely nice but their is a deficiency in acid which I believe clips the finish a little. 91
