Good, not great. Perhaps this bottle was off but this wine was not particularly impressive.

Lovely wine. It is more like a 1er Cru Chablis than a California Chardonnay.

Absolutely delicious! This was the runaway winner in a Chardonnay flight of California and Burgundy whites. It is ready to drink but definitely has the complexity and structure to last another 5 years or more.

Young with lots of structure. Needs more time and/or decanting.

Faded, no fruit. Drink up if you still have any.

Fantastic! Had last night night without decanting. Beautiful, mature color, nose of leather, herbs, dark fruits. Tannins were fully integrated. At its peak, I think, and will begin to fade but, wow, what a great wine for the price.

Quite good for the price. Fine bubbles, apples, a little brioche.

Fantastic showing for Bastille Day luncheon! It was the best white wine of the afternoon and, fortunately, not oxidized like many others have commented.

Excellent QPR! This wine was the favorite over several highly rated Bordeaux wines and a Hall Cab last night in a blind tasting. It is drinking perfectly now but appears to have plenty of time left.

Very nice Burgundy for the price. I think it's in a perfect drinking window with a surprising amount of structure still present.

This is drinking perfectly. Leather, cherries, herbal notes. The QPR on this wine is incredible!

Drank without decanting. No sediment. This is a beautiful Volnay that is drinking perfectly. Sadly, this was my last bottle.

Wine of the night among a flight of Caymus, Hall, and Quilceda Creek. Really drinking nicely now.

This wine is a different style of California cabernet and I really liked it. Much more austere with mostly cedar and vegetative notes. It is drinking quite nicely now but I'm looking forward to trying my other bottles in a few more years.

Very Burgundian nose, light bodied, mature. Drink now.

Still too young.

Served from a magnum and one of the favorites at our wine club Christmas party. Medium body, apples, toast, very bright and balanced. Impressive.

Popped and poured for dinner a few days ago. Initially very tight and tannic. Did not really improve over dinner. Drinking again a few days later and it's a much better wine...dark fruits, mocha, nicely balanced. Needs time or decanting for sure.

Lovely nose. Still tight with a surprising level of tannins. Could use a little more time.

Popped and poured and it was fantastic! And at $45 a bottle, a steal. As my friend said, "If all Chianti tasted like this I'd buy a lot more." I'm glad I have a few more bottles.

Not sure about the previous negative review, but this wine was a crowd favorite at our Christmas party with the wine club, second only to a 2004 Bollinger. Rich and balanced. Wish I had a lot more!

Wow, this wine is at its peak! Had it last night with paella and it was the clear crowd favorite among many high end Spanish reds. Terrific nose, well integrated tannins, and a long finish. I wish I had a few more bottles.

Tasted over dinner with friends. Beautiful nose, classic Burgundy that's drinking quite nicely now.

Very disappointing wine. This was billed as a Burgundian style California chardonnay but it is just laden with buttery oak that overwhelms everything. No fruit, flat finish.

Drinking very nicely now. I wouldn't hold on to bottles much longer. Smooth, nice finish. Doesn't knock your socks off but quite good QPR.
