I really love Syrah, and this one is no exception. Extra deep and complex; perfect color and fragrance.

I just have wine that I love, left in my cellar, and I pulled a bottle at random, since I knew that there wasn't anything that I didn't want to keep, and have more of. This was an excellent choice, although I may break down and order more directly from the winery. Just full, and rich, and excellent with lamb roast.

Improving with just a bit of aging. It's been perfect with leftover duck. Life is good.

There is now only one left. I'm trying to decide how long to save the last one. It's still very good, but nothing lasts forever. Maybe save the last one until 2021?

I should probably go out to the winery and pick up more, before it's gone. 2014 was such an excellent year, in general, for wine, and this is a spectacular example. The moment the cork left the bottle, I knew it was going to be excellent. The fragrance was wonderful, and the glass I had later in the evening was everything that a Cabernet Sauvignon ought to be.

It's excellent, but this is no surprise. I'll leave the other bottle for a special time. I'm drinking this in homage to the end of the year.

Beautiful color and aroma, and it tastes just as Petite Sirah ought to taste. I ordered three more.

It's just fabulous, and eminently drinkable. I still have one left, but may be forced to drive out and visit Terra Blanca and pick up more (but I'll call ahead to make sure that they still have the 2014).

It really improved after sitting for nearly two years. I've still got one bottle left, and it may sleep until next year. excellent wine, full-bodied, and rich in flavor. Life is good.

It's an interesting wine. As another reviewer mentioned, it's most like a Petite Sirah (which I like), and is full-bodied and worth drinking.

Tonight, I opened this for a rack of lamb. Excellent decision, since it went perfectly with it. If I encounter more of this particular wine, I'll have to remember that it's wasted on chicken. Lamb's my favorite in any case, and tonight just made me happy. :-}

It's decent enough, and went well with dinner (fish soup). I'll see if tonight's dinner provides a better compliment (baked chicken and asparagus).

I believe my tastes run to wines that are more full-bodied than this one. I'll give the other three bottles to charity. I'm sure they'll be appreciated more.

This was purely wonderful, from the fragrance when I first opened it to the very last sip from the glass. Cabernet Sauvignon is always one of my favorites, but this was a standout.

Good color, decent Pinot Noir. I'd normally have let this rest for a couple more years. Corner Stone Vineyard.

Pretty good, for a young wine. I'll probably keep at least two or three for a while, and let them develop. Kiona is always trustworthy on quality, and this was no exception.

Scott Harvey needs to make more, or at least, I need to buy more. Some varietals are easy. Syrah is not, and this is just wonderful.

I keep hoping that Casemates will repeat the offer that came from the closing down of Wine.woot (much to my regret). I suppose I'm going to have to see if the winery still has any, and hope that it wasn't one of those in the most recent wild fires. I believe that Petite Sirah is tied with Cabernet Sauvignon in my top favorites.

I wonder if I'll ever see this one again. It was offered on Wine.Woot, back in those heady final days before Woot closed the alcohol selling section for good, and it was very tasty. Ah, well. There's always another.

There's only one left, now. It seems fitting, and I'll probably wait until next year to drink the last one.

It really needs to be opened and aired for a couple of hours before pouring, and it's very rewarding to do so.

Every time I open a Wellington wine, it makes me sad and nostalgic. He made excellent wines, and I'm nearly at the end of my stock of them. I have a single Victory Reserve (2013) left, and I believe I will set it aside for something special. I opened the Syrah to celebrate September, and the coming end of summer, and it was an excellent choice to do so.

If you still have one of these in your cellar, keeping it for another year or so won't hurt...or you could just send it to me.

I actually preferred this 2015 to the 2013, and especially appreciate the initial fragrance (always a good hint of quality). I should really switch the reviews, although it's not a wine I'd buy again (I haven't yet tried the 2014, but I'm fairly sure that it wouldn't change my opinions).

The thing is, for a Syrah (or Syrah-style grape), I just expected a deeper note. I really love a good Syrah, and this decent enough, but not spectacular.

Just light, and refreshing, for a late summer salad. This is probably the only California Zinfandel that I like as well as the Washington ones. Delicate, and flavorful.

I couldn't decide what to open last night, and ended up just clearing out the center link in the trio of wines. It's not bad, and opens up nicely after an hour or so of opening. I just have a lot of very good wine, and I'd guess that I'm becoming blase about anything less than spectacular.

Not bad at all. I'm sure it would be even better if it sat for another year or so. Good fragrance upon opening, and solid flavor with dinner (large red lettuce salad with cheese, avocado, and sliced tomato).

Interesting wine. Not as dark as I'd expected, but certainly holds its own in the world of reds. I'll probably wait a year or so before opening the other, to give it a bit more time to age.

It's better, after having sat in the wine cellar for a while, and I do love Syrah. I might have been willing to just let it sit for another year, except that it hails from 2012, and has had the foil removed (perhaps it never had foil). I consider the protective foil over the cork to be important, since I live in a desert. It's a decent enough wine, and worth the money.
