Took few hours to open up and evolve but once it did it was great. Interesting nose with red fruit and licorice notes. Still full of life. Should continue to drink well over the next few years.

Really nice bottle. Loads of earthiness and tobacco. Retains some nice fruit and good structure as well. This bottle was in great shape and I'd say bottles stored under good conditions have life left but I'd also recommend drinking them now and enjoy!

Young, bright, with great energy. Beautiful dark fruit with a hint of vanilla in the background. Amazing texture and mouthfeel. Finish sails on and on.... One of the best '11s I've tasted to date. It will be fun to see how this evolves over time.

One of the longest times between initial access to finishing a bottle of any Coravin bottles we've had to date. Originally accessed on 8/18/14 with one access sometime in the fall and then finished 12/20/14. Amazingly consistent across the three tastings.

From 1.5L. Nice core of deep fruit flavors still present with very soft tannins. This vintage of Pahlmeyer lacks a little of the wineries signature depth and nuisance it's still very enjoyable and surprisingly youthful. Likely helped by being from a 1.5L bottle.

From 1.5L, Showed nicely especially given it's age and being from a weaker vintage. Very balanced. Enjoyed the earthiness and tobacco notes.

In a very drinkable place right now. Still has a core of fruit remaining and tannins very integrated w/ a dusty earthy mouth feel. Long finish. Don't see these improving from here but should be enjoyable over the near term.
