Pours a little light but don’t be deceived. It’s closer to garnet than cranberry in the glass with a nice shimmer. A full, rich bouquet opens up after a bit of air. The fruit really attacks on the front end. Mid palate has some depth and interest and finishes with refreshing acidity and just a enough bitterness to balance the abundant fruit. The oak has for the most part has integrated and is barely noticeable. You would be hard pressed to find a better RR Pinot at this price level, especially this vintage.

Classic Siduri Rosellas. Very approachable, rich and ripe with plenty of acidity to give it lift. A signature Siduri pinto ripe for early picking.

Classy wine with lots of depth. Yeasty, almost oxidative at points. Not your zippy, lemon profile but a much larger, deeper wine with a solid streak of acidity to keep it lively.

The aromatics on this wine are just off the hook. Not sure which is more enjoyable, swirling and sniffing or just drinking. Just a real heady wine. This has all the components of a beautiful cool climate syrah in a concentrated, dark, fruit forward wine. I pulled glasses from the bottle with the Corvin for over a week. It is in such a good place right now I can't see any reason to keep holding unless you like a softer structure. No noticeable alcohol on nose or palate. There is still plenty of acidity to add lift. The tannins have mellowed. Great mouthfeel with gushing aromatics. Wow. But you have to like a big wine--this almost petite-syrah-like in size but clearly cool climate Bennet Valley syrah in its tasting profile.

This newly released wine is coming out singing. Aromatics leap from the glass as does the rush of cherry and raspberry fruit on the front end of the palate. But there is an underlying depth of earthiness on the mid palate. It finishes with a juicy acidity and medium length finish. A good one to enjoy early but there seems to be plenty of stuffing here for future development. It's going to be hard to keep my hands off these!

This wine has loosened up in the bottle since the futures barrel tasting last year. There is an underlying tightness still but red fruit, crushed rock, spice, earthiness are coming through framed with juicy acidity and fine grained tannins. Another classic Keefer ranch pinot that should only get better over time.

A little funky on opening but with some air it really came around. Big mouthfeel, pungent nose, medium finish--this wine is drinking well right now. There is hint of oxidation on the finish but plenty of citrusy acid so not sure where this is going but pretty nice right now.

Wow this wine is singing right now. Pungent nose of flowers and earth. A ripe and rich pinot for sure but nicely balanced with no perceptible heat and not overpowering with food. One of the best Pisoni's I've had since the spectacular 2008 vintage. This wine still seems to be on the upswing.

Still very youthful and vibrant. Tannins still pretty pungent and plenty of acid. Maybe not as rounded and polished as the Carlisle but very enjoyable in a rustic way.

Coravined a glass and found it somewhat muted and soft. Went ahead and opened the bottle a week later not expecting much. Wine came to life with some air and quite enjoyable. Re-corked and gassed. Little to no change the next day. While it may have lost some of its youthful vibrancy, it has developed very nicely. Great core of fruit, tannins resolved but good acidity still and some nice earthy overtones.

Drinking well right now and not sure there is much of an upside left. Good, well made syrah. Nice fruit but not nearly as big as many of the others. Most of the tannins have integrated, plenty of acid to provide lift for the fruit. Nothing too complicated here but plenty to enjoy.

A little more structured than it Russian River counterpart and could easily go a few more years. Red and black cherry core, good acidity, moderate tannins. Well done.

Seems to be drinking at its peak right now. Lush mouthfeel, wonderful aromatics, great depth of mostly red cherry fruit and surprisingly light on its feet. What's not to love here.

In a good place right now. In the bigger, darker, riper style but holding up well. Loads of black cherry ample acidity and some underlying spice.

Glad I waited on this one. Dark garnet in color but nothing heavy or sappy about this one. Great minerality, light on its feet, good acidity, more red than black fruits and good character. No off tastes, just pure clean fruit with an array of mineral flavors underneath. Love it.

Fading fruit, thin mid palate. Some acidity gives this a much needed lift but I don't see this going anywhere but down, unfortunately.

Darker garnet but very lively with juicy acidity. A little funk on the nose to start but blew off with some air. Dark cherry and pomegranate with a nice spicey component. Very impressed with this little vineyard in the hills between Pismo and Santa Maria.

The last one in the cellar and no where near the bottle last year. Fruit has faded and has a reductive note on the finish. Unfortunately an off bottle.

Still plenty of time left for this one. It took about an hour or so to start opening up. Good acidity and fruit. On the leaner side but does well with some air.

Too oxidized for my taste. Perhaps a storage issue. Picked this one up on clearance from K&L.

Oak is integrating nicely. A nice pinot on the fruit forward side but not overly sappy or sweet or overly oaked. Good balance of fruit and acidity. Well done and good value.

This wine is only getting better. Lush with toasty oak and good acidity. Very impressive early vintage from this stellar vineyard. This wine should only get better as the oak continues to integrate.

One of the great values in California syrah--this particular vintage especially. This is a wine you could drink all night. Loads of refreshing acidity, lots of character, everything in balance. What a great glass of red wine for an incredible value. Thanks Adam!

Light golden color. Crisp and citrusy. A slight hint of green apple on the nose and finish. Not as lean as I expected as it had somewhat of a rounded mouth feel. I would love to try this wine in ten years. A very refreshing, pure chardonnay not overly oaked with a promising upside. No rush.

Light ruby without the tawny edges of the last bottle. It threw some sediment. Lots of crystals on the cork. A bit of funk on the nose that blew off after some air. Sour cherry dominates this particular bottle with some underbrush and rose petals. Unbelieveably fresh and lively. You would never guess this is a 13 year old wine. This partcular bottle could easily last another 10 years.

This wine is open and ready to drink. A little air will helps bring out the structure and fruit. Medium acidity overall...not as racy as you get with this vineyard. But, the acidity clearly makes this outshine the Garys. You get much more aromatics and meaty notes from the Garys but it lacks the lift and refreshing acidity of Rosellas. Day 2 Garys shot but Rosellas going strong.

Grabbed this by accident reaching for Westside Road Neighbors. Light and tart strawberry and cherry. Loads of acidity still and wound pretty tight. This took a good two hours to open. Plenty of life left here and its best days are a few years down the road.

Good simple cab. Vanilla, cassis, touch of mocha and a touch of bitter tannins on the finish. Overall, a good basic fruit forward cab with just enough structure to keep it from being flabby.

Popped this one tonight at dinner out with friends. Bricking at edges and almost tawny in color made me nervous. Swirl and sniff revealed a potpouri of dried flowers---feminine and delicate. On the palate lovely fruit, mature but not oxidative. There was a captivating, ethereal quality and just enough acidity to give a bit of a lift on the finish. Paired perfectly with duck leg. I trusted Morgan on this one and was rewarded handsomely. I'm so glad I have two more.
