Wow! It is drinking perfectly right now. What a great example of how mountain fruit ages well!

Excellent Cabernet Franc! Great nose, med body, long finish. Has the vegetal flavors that I like about Cab Franc, but ripe and round, not overpoweringly green. Drinking nicely now, but has lots of life. I left open overnight to taste the next day, still going strong!

Thoroughly enjoyed this wine! Tried side by side with another vintage 10 years older, but this one was at its peak! Wonderful nose, Fruit still present, good complexity on the palate. Great example of why we should lay down Cali cabs for 10 years.

My Pinot preference tends to run Burgundian, so some of the popular California Pinots aren't always for me. This one is a great example of a California Pinot that should appeal to both rich Pinot lovers and Burgundy traditionalists. Rich flavors but not overly extracted. Great acidity. If you drink soon, let it open for a while and you will enjoy!

Thoroughly enjoyable. Full bodied and rich with a great flavor profile. Good acidity with moderate alcohol makes it a very food friendly wine. I’ll order more!

Light color, great flavor acidity balance. Great domestic example of classic Burgundy style. 13.3% ABV, I love this direction in California Pinots.

I was very interested by the varietal combination, I've never had a Pinot + Syrah before. Turns out to be a great combination for a nice sipping wine. Pinot dominated nose. Soft mouth-feel. Subtle acidity, mouth watering without the bitter cherry tartness. I couldn't discern overt Syrah influence, but the end result is very cool!

This is a nice wine for this price point. Dark fruits on the nose, decently balanced, good structure.

Deep purple. Opaque. Earth, forest floor, and red fruit on the nose, but mostly a very palate driven wine. Very round and full, with a nice long finish. Independent of price I really like this wine, but when QPR is factored in, it is fantastic. I will buy more.

Palate dominated wine. Warm and richly textured. A little heat from the alcohol, but balanced by the acidity. Very long finish. Not the bright acidity style of Pinot that I typically like, but also not a overly extracted, cola beverage. Overall I like it.

I enjoyed this much more than the bottle I had a few years ago. Nose was closed upon first pour, but opened up nicely throughout the evening. Recommend decanting, it's a different wine after 2 hours.

Color stainging on the legs, hinting at the alcohol levels. (Label says 15.2%). Dustry cab nose. Spice box. More earth than fruit.
Hot on the palate. The alcohol burn seems to dominate. After that decent tannin and acidity. Nice black fruit.
Overall impression: I was hoping to love this wine as I have loved some of their lower priced blends. I liked, but didn't love. It was a deecnt showing, but not a standout. I think the alcohol level was the biggest challenge for me. Not running out to buy a case.

Dense purple color. Big ripe red fruit on the nose, with some choclate and spice. Big, rich palate. Very ripe fruit. Medium length finish. Overall impression: Probably exactly what it is supposed to be, but no longer my flavour profile.

Thin, light color. Restrained nose, single tone red berry fruit. A bit sharp on the fore-palate. Some acidity, but not much noticeable tannin. Short finish. Became slightly more expressive as it warmed up during the meal. Overall impression: This might be the kind of wine I would like, cooler, lower alcohol, 2nd glass is better than the first, but its very tight now. I'd like to give it a bit more time and try again. Decant in advance if you want to drink now.

Medium color density. Licorice and dark fruit on the nose. Medium to light body, slightly sharp on the palate. Tastes cooler than I would have expected, red fruit. Noticeable tannin and acidity, with a long finish. Overall I like it and think it will improve for a while.

There needs to be an "I love it" button! Had this wine at a dinner where we tasted 6 cabs ranging from 2010 to 1998. This was the oldest, and the only one that had transitioned to what I would describe as a mature wine. Bouquet of leather and other barnyard scents. Wonderfully balanced, with a nice long finish. Great option for a reasonably priced example of a mature napa cab.

Had a at Napa Cab tasting of 6 cabs ranging from 2010 to 1998. This was the 2nd oldest, and one of the standouts. I didn't take detailed notes, but my impression was really positive. Drinking beautifully now.

High alcohol, highly extracted, very ripe. Opulent. Not quite my style of Pinot, but if it's yours you may love this!

I'm working on my understanding/appreciation of the various Cru Beaujolais. I've had several from the 09 vintage that have been great, but this was only OK. Is it this wine, or is it that I like Fleurie a little less ... we'll see.

Interesting, but just outside of enjoyable. It had a slight effervesce, which I dislike in a red table wine. I'm not sure if that is a flaw or a characteristic of this type of wine.

In the quest for a high QPR everyday Pinot, this one is a maybe. At first taste I was encouraged, but that impression wasn't maintained through the bottle.
