3/10/23, 10:45 AM - Sorry to say I drink too many bottles to remember this one specifically beyond what I put in the notes. Knowing how I handle a bottle like this I likely pulled the cork and decanted, then poured one glass. I'd have taken a sip and decided it was too tight and needed to open. Every 20-30 min I'd have come back to the glass and taken another sip to decide if she was ready to roll. So, I might suggest the same approach, but do it with an expectation it'll take 2 hr for it hit stride (unless you simply can't wait ;-) )or she's at a different place than a year ago, your storing conditions were different, your pallet is different than mine and like it a little different etc etc and all the other stuff that impacts. Hope you enjoy!!ps - I keep my cellar cold at 53-54 degrees.

3/27/23, 11:38 PM - Great to hear you enjoyed. Can't say I've tried a technique of pulling it from the cellar and essentially just letting it warm a bit without opening. I drink plenty of wine so maybe I"ll give that approach a try. Cheers.
1/26/23, 5:19 PM - I lived in the Alsace region for a year, and yes had numerous. In addition we currently frequently drink German Rieslings, since they're my wife's favorite.
