@Boury, Believe it was this vintage. One glass double blind. Guessed “Morgon on speed”. Thought I was off, but with hindsight, not a bad description as it goes a bit in that direction. Definitively nice winemaking, tightly knit, rich, nothing sticking out. Fruit galore. Was a joy to drink this with the lamb. Not overly complex, but so much joy in this glass.

Nice wine, like this more than the Thalabert 2015. Open for business, all in check. This is how I imagine a top shelf Crozes in a top year.

@Boury. First time I had the opportunity to drink a wine from this producer and I understand the praise/hype. Richly balanced, long and complex, with a lingering minerality that makes this a food wine par excellence. Went well with most dishes, but especially with the Asian inspired langoustine. Heaven…

What a wine! Perfectly balanced, no hard edges. A wealth of ripe fruit. Long but not “grand Vin” long 8-9 second finish. What it lacks in length it makes up in completeness. This is extremely sexy and feminine. A lot of substance underneath. Perfect now but can last for years. Why wait? Wooaw. If it were a woman? Brigitte Bardot in her early days.

Always good value at around 40 eur. Rich fruity plums and cherry 🍒 kirsch from the ripe vintage. Smells like Tuscany . Enjoy now. I would not sit on this vintage (other years age gracefully, but I don’t see the point for this vintage). Great upon opening after two hours and the next day. A quarter serious and three quarter fun fruit.

Compares favourably to janasse 2010 and charvin 2014 drank during the week. You feel you are in a different area with more altitude. Really nice and in the same league quality and interest wise for half the price.

Had this a day after the janasse 2010. This feels Burgundian in comparison. Nicely made and a quality wine worth its 35 eur price tag back in the days

Lovely richer style c9dp , pulls it off being big without being a fruit salad or tannic beast. Better on day two actually and no oxidation on day 3. Much better than I had expected and needs time in a decanter or two hours in your glass. Prime drinking window for my taste. From magnum and bought at the domaine at release.

Beautiful balanced and elegant mid-weight barolo. Truly enjoyed this on its own. Probably even better in 3-5 years, but nothing wrong with opening one now.

Bought on release and finally I understand the fuss about py s wines. Chardonnay through a Riesling lens . Fantastically rich and layered, yet so fresh and linear. A stellar Chardonnay for the price paid on release. Can easily last a couple of years but don’t see any upside

Perfect with the cheeses. Hundsruck is a top terroir and 2015 a top vintage and that is clear from the moment you unscrew the cork. What a bargain . Drink now, I see no reason to wait

What a wine . Simply spectacular after a splash decant. This was on the young side out of a cold cellar. What a fantastic balanced concentration, long and fresh even if this was a hot vintage . Easily 94 pts and a true bargain by any standard.

Solid and as I remember tasting it at the domaine. Nicely balanced mid weight Volnay. Somehow one can sense that Moreau is a great white wine maker when drinking his reds. I mean that as a compliment. Can age further, but no need to. Winner at the table.

Solid pomerol . In a perfect place, needs 2-3 hours in a decanter to blossom. Not the best wine in the best vintage, but a lot of value when bought en primeur. Should hold for the next couple of years but I don’t see any upside

A good crozes from a great year. In the glass it proves that Crozes is not Hermitage. A bit pruney and clipped. Lacks perfume and finesse. We had two bottles on the table this one and a bottle of Walter Hundsruck spatburgunder 2015 (aromatic and fine)…. Why not? Adding a dollup of the spatburgunder to this syrah, resulted in a much better wine. It became fragrant, the pruneyness resided, the wine found balance. The power made sense now. My wife said I was out of my mind to mix both wines. But the wine in the glass did not lie. 88 pts without the spat, 92 with…

For my taste: Overripe fruit stew. Yes it is luxuriously polished and intense. Has length and all. But it is too sweet has no grip and does not speak of a place to me. Napa is not for me .

First out of three. Bought in a French “hypermarché” about 20 years ago for around 50 eur. Good purchase this was singing! Richly nuanced with nuts and honey and freshness that keeps it all together

A pleasure to drink and for my taste absolutely ready. There are more complete vintages in my cellar that will get a decade or more extra time to mature. Almost Burgundian in style. Black olives and cured meat, together with the overal texture and profile put it straight in the Cornas corner. I guess you can drink this with confidence over the next 5 to 10 years.

Another lost bottle, that should not be there anymore... Was quite nice as I remember it, soft, on the secondary notes, starting tertiary. Wood is fully resolved. Not the best/clearest/most refined GC , but was great to have a glass of this nonetheless.

This was a nice bottle of hermitage we drank over two days. 1st evening with Hare @nuance , second on its own on the couch. Not the most concentrated or exquisite bottle of Chave, but that being said a bottle of Chave always is a treat. Good balance , no hard edges, shows it’s pedigree despite the vintage. One bottle left. No reason to wait with opening these, it will not get better. Drink now !!!! And over the next couple of years if you have more than one left

From magnum. Drank over two days. Opened for lunch. First glass was a bit disjointed, 5 hours open the wine sang. Keep it below 18 c and this is fantastic. Manages to stay balanced then. Secondary flavors and early tertiary. In a nice place. Has years to go in this 150cl format in a cold cellar.

In the typical house style, creamy, soft . Lots of fruit, floral, spices, vanilla. Long. Still young and purple. Hedonistic, but personally prefer more structure and less big and boldness. Very good

What a stunning bottle for the money. such nice balance, velour, depth, length. For under 25 EUR? I tried to find something similar for the same price, but failed... Bought 24 bottles. Glad not everybody likes it as much as we do at home.

Sexy Pinot noir, from a warm site, restrained opulence. Does that make any sense? Regardless great winemaking and the most open of the GGs tasted at the domaine. Could turn out beautifully over time . Bought 3

Tasted blind at the domaine. I thought it was mourvedre heavy old vines from a new site or so. Turns out it was the regard loin (the top cuvee) Tasted much younger than the other single vineyard 2020s. Turns out it is 30-35 pct mourvedre. What a structure . Great finesse. This is a mix of their single vineyards , but the elevage is different. Impressive wine. Not sure about the pricing. But I assume there is a market for this.

Making a pure Mourvèdre is a statement. Making one that is balanced and well composed is an achievement. What a wine!!! Dare I say elegant (in a Mourvèdre context). Bought a magnum to drink in 20 years. This is a baby still
