Not bad. Firm indeed. Wait awhile before opening again, if unable to give it away first.

My first real review as we usually just score with a number, this is a very accessible and easy-drinking conversation piece. We were fascinated with this wine, although we have very little experience with Grenache. Nose of clove and licorice, which evolved into cherries fairly quick after opening. Very low tannins. Heavy mouthfeel is very unique...smooth and creamy. Just a hint of black pepper at the finish. Color me impressed. Wow.
