Still incredibly delicious and seems like it's holding up well. No reason to wait though as don't think it will add any more complexity.

Wow...this wine has fantastic. As wonderful as my last bottle 12 years ago. Still quite youthful, but lots more depth. Intense floral nose, deep dark maroon in color with bricking on the edges, silky smooth. Cherry, raspberry, mushroom, truffle. Wish I had more as I think this still has plenty of life left and would love to try another in 10 years.
Red
Very good now with lots of upside. Pretty nose and quite delicious. Good structure and plenty of fruit, mineral and spice. I'd give it a year or so to develop a little further. Will look for more of these.
Red
My bad - I didn't decant it ahead of time, so it took about an hour in the glass for it to come around. The nose was amazing from the get go, but there was a bit of heat initially that did eventually dissipate with time. My second glass was amazing and we totally enjoyed it the rest of the evening. Perfectly paired with prime New York steak. An outstanding wine with incredible depth and array of flavors, great balance, and super long finish. Drink now (with 1+ hour decant) or continue to hold.
Red
1st of 3. Delicious, especially after a decant. Went great with grilled pork chops. Myriad of flavors - cranberries, black berries, plum, spices. Zippy acidity. Will give the others another year or so in the bottle to help them settle down and integrate better.

Excellent. Ready to drink. Smooth, lots of dark fruit. Notes of smoke, herb, mineral. Really nice. Drink now or continue to hold.
Red
Lovely chianti. In a great spot. Earthy, floral nose. Berries, Herb, mushroom and some spice on the palate. Great food wine. Drink or continue to hold.

Dinner party wine. Only got to try one glass. It's definitely in it's mid/late maturity window. The fruit is now less pronounced but it still strongly in the background (cassis), but it is now predominately provencial herbs, meat juices, and coffee. Overall, very nice, with a long finish. Drink within the next few years if you have these.
Red
Outstanding pinot. Had with salmon. Wonderful floral and berry nose. Clear dark ruby color. Crisp and smooth, full bodied yet elegant, loaded with cherries, dark berries, cola, spices and herbs. Great balance and just delightful to drink on it's own or with food. Wish I had more as I think it will continue to develop more depth. Drink or hold.
White
Very nice. Great with scallop risotto. Very expressive wine. Love the floral nose. Palate has lots of flavor, depth. Citrus, mineral, some honey, even a touch of tropical fruit - evolves in the glass. Lovely.
Red
Excellent. Had with lamb chops. Big wine, but very smooth. Lots of dark fruit flavor. Quite drinkable now, but may develop even more depth with a year or 2 of age.
Red
Amazing. Beautiful bouquet, super smooth, wonderful berry and dark fruit flavors. One of the best Pinots we've had this year. Drink now or continue to hold.
Red
Wonderful wine. Beautiful nose of rose petals and dark cherries. Full bodied but super smooth and quite elegant. Complex palate of dark fruits, cherry, strawberry, baking spices, touch of toasted oak. Really nice and happy we have one more. Drink by 2025.
Red
Outstanding wine. Have to believe this is at peak. It has really progressed from our tasting 16 months ago. Lots of depth, great dark berry, tart cherry and sautéed mushroom flavors. Super silky on the palate, long finish. Nicely balanced. I'm not really into scoring these days but easily in the mid 90's if you're into that thing. It was great on it's own and with food. Sure wish we had more in our cellar.

Superb wine from a superb vintage. Looked at my notes from 5 years ago and it hasn't changed a bit. I have no idea how long these will hold at this level of awesomeness, but I'm not getting any younger, so I'm enjoying these great wines while I still can.
Red
Delicious! At 20 years this shines. From our cellar and decanted for sediment. Sat at room temp for about 40 minutes. Aromas of dark fruit and spices. Full bodied, super smooth, intense flavors of black cherries, chocolate, some raspberries and mineral. Well done. Enjoy this now if you have some, but should hold for a few more years at least.

Husband's choice....for his birthday wine. Great choice! Near perfect again. Wow, just wow. Huge yet elegant. Stuffed to the gils with an array of flavors and aromas. Super smooth, loooong finish. Only drawback, the bottle isn't big enough to last all night. Drink now-2026.
Red
Great wine for the price. Had with our neighbors with some beef kabobs. Very smooth, lots of fruit, some underbrush and minerality. Good balance and not too dry. Ready to drink now - 2026.

This is ready to go! Decanted for sediment and let breathe 1 hour. Super smooth, lush, lots of dark fruit, smoke, some tar and lightly oaked. Long finish. Had with Ribeyes. Great now and should be fine for a a few more years at least, but why wait?

Interesting experience. Decanted for sediment. Beautiful nose. Quick taste wasn't pleasant, almost like a cherry cough medicine....almost dumped it down the drain. We decided to let it breathe for another 60-90 minutes, then it was near perfect - super smooth, elegant, yet packed with fruit and herbal notes. It matched our marinated leg of lamb dinner perfectly. An hour later, however, it started to become disjointed and flavors fade away. A very tricky window of goodness here, recommend drink up.
Red
Really good, great flavors, super smooth. Not as good as a couple years ago though, so drink up!

OK. Nothing special. Not much structure and fairly monolithic. A bit too modern and sweet tasting for me as well.
Red
Simply Beautiful. And in a perfect spot right now. Smooth and elegant. Fully integrated with great balance and a long finish. Still shows lots of fruit, herbs, meat juice and spice with hints of leather in the background. Great way to celebrate my sister's birthday.
Red
Excellent. In a great place. Wonderful layers of fruit, meat, spice. Great body, good acidity. Super smooth and long finish. Hard to imagine it will get any better but no rush on this one.

Light, dry, refreshing. Clear, pale yellow, floral nose. Citrus, mineral, apricot flavors. Lovely summer wine to pair with just about anything - went great with a creamy shrimp pasta dish.

Very pleasant and affordable Oregon Pinot. Earthy, blackberry, blueberry, baking spices. Medium bodied. Fairly short finish. Paired well with wild sockeye salmon. Drink within the next couple years.
Red
Superb wine. Similar notes to last year. We had it with grilled ribeyes tonight and it really shined. In it's prime with loads of flavor, perfect balance, beautiful nose, super long finish....I just want to keep drinking this. Very happy I have quite a few more of these. Drink now or continue to hold.

Quite unusual and unique. This is a variety I haven't had before, but really enjoyed. Bold flavors, earthy & fruity. Heavy bodied, nice nose, good mouth feel. Spanish wines always surprise me and we always seem to enjoy them. At this price, it's definitely worth seeking them out especially if you are adventurous. Drink now with 30 minute decant or continue to hold.

Really good! Bigger wine than we were expecting, lots of layers of flavor, long finish, well balanced. Great with and w/o food. Excellent QPR. Wish I had more. Drink now or continue to hold.

Just a wonderful little wine - especially for the price. Bought over a case and have enjoyed everyone so far and even give as gifts. Great balance, weight, aroma. Dry, crisp, refreshing with plenty of citrus and summer fruit flavors. Delicious with or without food.
Red
This has come a long way in a little over a year. It has evolved and added additional depth and flavor. More spice and earthiness and a unique figgy orange component. Long finish, good acidity making it a great food wine. Drink now or continue to hold.

2015 Château Lalande de Gravet St. Émilion Grand Cru Red Bordeaux Blend (view label images)
Excellent wine, especially for the price. Quite drinkable now and should be for at least another 5 years. Very nice blend of Merlot, Cab franc, and Cab sav. Medium bodied, dark berry aromas, tastes of cassis, pepper, and smokey-earthiness. Restrained alcohol, fine tannins, med-long finish. Glad I have one more that I will consume on it's 10th birthday.

In a very good spot. Full bodied, pretty nose, creamy smooth cherry cola flavor, earthiness, smokey and meaty. Very representative of central coast pinot noir. Could use a touch more acidity/vibrancy. I like it, but it is a bit pricey, and we've found better value with other producers in that area.

So-So. Intense juicy flavor, but a bit high in alcohol and not a lot of depth. Short finish - an OK midweek wine.

Same as our last note. This is a nice, typical dry French bordeaux - meant to be consumed in the short term as an everyday simple dinner wine. If you like this style, it's actually a good price/quality sipper.

For the price, a very good Washington cabernet that is well balanced and contains many of the flavors typical of the region. Still some tannins, but drinking well now. IMHO, not for long term storage, drink by 2025.
Red
A simple, solid French Burgundy at an affordable price. Great weekday wine with salmon
Red
Awesome. In a perfect place with plenty of life left. Huge fruit plus layers and layers of flavor.
Red
From our cellar. Always a treat. Great Aussie wine from a phenomenal vintage. Previous tasting note pretty much summarizes it, so no need to repeat. Should continue to drink this well for at least a handful of years, if not longer. If you have a few, try one. If you don't, seek one out and treat yourself.
Red
Wonderful barolo, very traditional. Drinking great now and should for some time. Nose and palate match. Lots of dried roses and lush raspberry, some earth and herbs. Great body. Nice acidity. Still some tannins but not overpowering.

From our cellar. Decanted and started drinking immediately. It was best the first hour out of the gate - outstanding actually. Huge nose of roasted meats, herbs and leather, nice legs, browned edges. Palate is full bodied, still has some fruit and it's quite complex. A wonderful conversational wine since it changes so much in very little time. By the end of the 2nd hour, however, it starts to decline and reminded me of the bottle we had a couple years ago which we had decanted for a few hours before drinking and I wasn't that impressed with.
Red
Lovely wine - not quite as complex as some other vintages but still very good. Great weight, lovely nose, smooth and good fruit. Drink now or continue to hold.
