Drank over two nights. First night, lovely bouquet of dark fruits and dried flowers. Bricking around edges. Medium weight, huge plum and berry flavors, spices and herb, and some smokey flavors. Lots of layers and still very fresh tasting, medium finish and very little sweetness at the end. Excellent. 93 points. Second night, still lovely but flavors, while still present, have receded and are not as pronounced. 90 points tonight. Drink over next 12-24 months.

Beautiful wine. For a cabernet it's fairly light weight, dry, yet with huge fruit and layers of flavor. More old world than new world - that's a good thing. Definitely in it's prime, but should be great for another 5-8 years.

Needs a little more time to come together, but interesting and delightful to drink now. A fine Syrah that shows the unique terroir of Walla Walla area...dark fruits, mineral, funk. Will try next one in 2-3 years.

Beautiful wine...right out of the gate. Symphony of flavors and very addictive. Started losing it's luster after about an hour, but still a very pretty and very interesting wine. Excellent paired with Duck Breast in an Orange Sauce. Bought on release and perfectly stored. Decanted, had some fine sediment. Given my druthers, I'd be inclined to drink my remaining bottles over the next few years rather than wait too much longer.

A little low on acidity, but otherwise a very nice wine. Dark and red fruits, olive, mineral. Soft tannins. Easy drinking. Spot on match for a spicy ribeye.
Red
Outstanding, nearing extraordinary. Full bodied yet elegant. Smooth, lovely texture. Excellent structure and balance. A wonderful myriad of flavors that change constantly. We all loved it. At peak but has enough stuffing to go for at least several more years and may even continue to develop more secondary characteristics.

Not a big rosé fan, but this was really nice. Dry, good acidity, initial flavor of strawberry, followed by watermelon. Just a tad of sweetness. Bright, clear, pretty salmon-strawberry color. Had with salmon and was a very good match.

Best showing so far for this wine. It's in a great spot. Great balance and ton of fruit flavor without being over the top or cloying. A nice earthy, mushroom undertone as well. Long finish. Should be good for a few more years at least.

Soooo good. Similar notes to last time. I love how this wine is complex and intellectual. Smooth and addictive. Constantly evolving. Just Outstanding. Definitely in it's prime, but still many years ahead. Great with homemade lasagna.
Red
Decanted....lots of sediment. Excellent and refined. Well made. Medium-heavy weight. Layers of berries, cherries, mineral, anise, oak. Super smooth. The merlot adds a little sweetness to the remaining tannins. Acidity is already in the background. Definitely in peak window. Drink now-2023.
White
Similar notes to last time. Very refreshing, nice structure and delicious complementary flavors.

Very nice wine for scallops and shrimp. Crisp, clean, citrusy, mineral, dry. Light bodied, smooth, good acidity, not too tart.

Tasted at the winery and bought a bottle to go. Delicious. Lovely, smooth texture, and a pretty nose. Lots of tropical and citrus flavors, with a touch of honey. Drinking great now and should hold for a few years at least.
Red
Excellent. Decanted for an hour, and drank over 3 hours. Took about an hour for it to open up. Nice balance of fruit and oak. The blend of Cab Sauv, Merlot, Cab Franc adds dimension and interest. Still has enough structure to allow for additional aging. Drink now or continue to hold.

Excellent. Nice blend of Cab Sauvignon, Cab Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Malbec. An explosive, big wine. Rotating flavors of dark fruits, spiciness, cedar, earth. Good structure, smooth. Drying finish.
White - Sparkling
Very nice CA sparkling wine. Best I've had from the US. Elegant, dry, crisp, refreshing. Nice pear, brioche, almond and toast flavors.

Excellent wine. Ton of flavor. Heavy, huge, high octane. At 14, it's still drinking great. A bit sweeter than I like and a little low on acidity, but fun to drink, nonetheless.

Fantastic aged Brunello. Stunning aged nose of dried flowers and earth. Excellent structure, a myriad of flavors and a very long finish. Great food wine as well. At prime. Can be held longer, but why wait...
Red
Mature and outstanding. Wonderful nose, lovely color. Palate is very smooth, huge fruit and quite complex. A little less acidity than other years, but still seems to have enough substance and structure to last at least another 5 years.

A solid Burgundy wine - especially for the price. Elegant, quite fruity, nice truffle scent on the nose, good acidity, 13% alcohol. Great with food and also for sipping afterward. It's in a great spot and probably still has a few good years left.

Still delicious. Tons of fruit, a bit high on the octane level, but enough acidity to keep it in check. On the backside of it's drinking window, but it can still go a few years. No reason not to drink them if you have them. This was our last one, we enjoyed them all, wish we had more.

Simply stellar tonight. Decanted and drank over 3 hours. Cork was difficult to remove but in perfect shape. Amazing nose. Incredibly fresh, lots of flowers, fruit, spice, mineral. Complex, perfect structure, long finish...from first sip to last. Perfect match with our seabass in a tomato/onion/garlic sauce.

Decanted for sediment. Drank over 3 hours. Very masculine profile yet a decent amount of dark fruit and spice. Earthy, big wine. Unique, but very much a Washington profile. In a good drinking window, still has time, but I don't see it improving.

Amazing. In your face delicious. Surprisingly, the alcohol was well hidden behind the immense amount of fruit. Not sweet or jammy, or over-the-top. Just very fresh, fruity, silky, well balanced. Secondary notes of chocolate, smoke, eucalyptus and a finish that lasted forever. Completely exceeded my expectations. Mature and wonderful. Drink now or continue to hold.

Delicious. Decanted for about an hour. Med-heavy body but elegant. Wonderful. Floral nose. Tasty to drink, nice complexity (blackberry, raspberry, cranberry, mineral, forest floor, baking spices). Just wonderful. Perfect with some fresh wild Copper River salmon. Wish I had more. Drink now with a decant or continue to hold.

Drinking well. Smooth, long finish, well integrated. A very unique profile....definitely from Washington. Mix of Cab, Merlot, and Cab Franc. Quite complex. Dusty, earthy, chocolatey, and coffee nose. Similar on palate with also dark fruit (blackberry, plum and black currant) and lots of earth (herbs, mineral, underbrush). Medium-heavy, nicely balanced. Definitely more old world than new world. Drink now-2024

Just. Beautiful. Best CDP I've had in a while. Old school and truly delicious. Fully mature and begging to be enjoyed. From our cellar and stored since release. Decanted for sediment. Lovely bouquet which filled the room. Beautiful dark garnet color, with a hint of browning. Rich, vibrant, luscious and smooth as silk all night. Full bodied and perfectly balanced. Layers upon layers of flavors....changing constantly as the night progressed. Dark fruits, strawberry, figs, garrigue, currants, graphite, roasted clove, bacon, and just enough funk to have no doubt of it's origin. Long lingering finish. I wish I had more.

A good Roussane in a really good spot. Popped and poured. Only got better over the 4 hours it was consumed. Heavy bodied (like a chardonnay), dark yellow and clear in color, a fair bit of acidity. Not much on the nose, but palate has lots of flavor. Some oak, honey, pear, mineral. Alcohol a bit high at 14.5%. Went well with lemon chicken. I personally think it's in it's best drinking window now, but (not knowing this producer) it should hold a few more years.

Tasted at the winery a couple weeks ago. Bought three and had one with Black Cod tonight. Very enjoyable wine. Light lemon yellow color. Very clear. Medium-light bodied. Dry, good acidity. Lots of green apple, mineral, and a bit grassy. Very long citrusy finish. Improved with air and as it warmed up to room temperature. Glad we have a couple more. Drink or hold for next 3-5 years.

Light, refreshing, semi-dry table wine (9% alcohol). A nice summer sipper that is also quite flavorful and goes well with shellfish. Great price-point too.

From a bottle purchased upon release and properly cellared. Decanted (lots of sediment), and allowed 30 minutes of airtime. Drank over the following 3 hours. There is a tad of bricking around the dark garnet color, but very clear. This wine possesses very intense, rich and complex flavors and aromas. Lots of ripe fruits, licorice, some smoke, herbs, and just a hint of leather. No brett. Full-bodied and very smooth - a truly wonderful wine, if it were not for the notable alcohol on the finish (especially as it warmed to room temperature). I would have scored this much higher (95 pts) if it was not for the high alcohol (15.5%). This bottle was not flawed or 'over ripe'. The alcohol simply detracts from its overall beauty. If properly cellared, this wine should hold for at least another 4-5 years. Would advise serving at 55-60 degrees for best experience.
