Decanted. All of the usual CdP notes are there but this is now a soft, smooth and mellow version. Very good tonight with rotisserie chicken.

Crisp, juicy, mineral and lemon. Very consistent over the last few years. Great summer sipper and also went well tonight with soft shell crab.

Classic Cab profile of blackberry, pencil lead and oak. Smooth velvety texture. Good although not blow us away good. A little short on depth.

Tight and tart at first but opened up and mellowed within a hour or so. Rich fruit, garigue and umami. Smooth and elegant style. Delicious.

Complex and enticing aroma. Smooth, lithe and easy on the palate. Black fruit and clove with a hint of tropical sweetness on the finish. The Grenache Blanc weighing in?

Deep copper to ruby color. Looks like a kir. Strawberry, melon and cranberry flavor. Lighter in weight and body than the color led us to expect. Enough stuffing to work with a variety of food but probably best with lighter fare. Definitely a keeper.

A relatively light rosé. For me more of an aperitif than a food wine but good in that context. My wife is definitely a fan. I prefer something with more weight and texture.

About as good as it gets at this price point. Medium weight and texture, Touch of acacia on the nose. Stone fruit, citrus and hazelnut and it all comes together with a crisp finish.

This is superb. Creamy texture, lemon curd and great acidity. We had it with several Greek dishes and it nailed every one, even the Cypriot meatballs.

Drinking well although a bit too full, sweet and jammy for my taste. My wife loved it so just a function of style preference. We both enjoyed it though and the score is a compromise between the two of us. Worked well with grilled ribeye.

Honey colored. Floral nose. Baked apple, lemon, mineral and a touch of butterscotch on the palate. My wife is also getting pineapple but I am not. Full, vibrant and delicate.

Last two bottle's corks have disintegrated so used an Ah-So. Decanted. Significant sediment in previous bottles and here also. More reserved nose than I remember but superb on the palate. Rich black cherry, cedar, balsamic, herb and mineral with a long finish. A fabulous wine and unfortunately our last bottle.

L1415401. Our last bottle from this disgorgement date. It has added weight and depth with time and, for us, gotten better. Full and toasty today. Been a great run.

Deeply tinted red orange. Full flavor and texture even by Bandol standards. Cherry, orange peel and peach. Long tart finish. It lingers. Not a sipper for me. It needs food but that it is not a bad thing.

Not getting the funk that some have mentioned. I am getting the brine and olive that I usually do with Reynvaan wines along with licorice and mellow fruit. Soft, silky and smooth.

Gave it an hour and a half in a decanter before tasting and it was still rather restrained. It opened up with food (pasta with marinara). Dust, dark cherry, spice and tart acidity. Too early but still very tasty. It needed the food.

Dense purple. Nose of earth, cedar and rich blackberry fruit. Incredibly intense fruit, cedar box and spice flavor. There is some of the nuance and complexity of a good French bottle here but the power and sensuality of the fruit is what defines this wine.

Decanted and it took a couple of hours to open up. Quiet nose but a rich palate of tart cherry, balsamic and licorice. Probable good upside but like where it is now.

We took our time tonight and were reminded how much more we enjoy this wine when it is given time in bottle, a couple of hours of air and allowed to approach room temperature. It grows fuller, richer and more complex.

Graceful and polished although it took a couple of hours in a decanter to get there. Tight and anonymous at first but it opened up with some air. A superb nose and complex in mouth. Soft ripe fruit, garigue and spice. My wife is getting a little funk but I am not. Only one left but no rush.

Tasted right after decanting and it was immediately accessible. Open, aromatic and smooth. Cherry, graphite and spice. No lingering oak. Doubtful that there is further upside from here but it is very good tonight.

Still drinking well even though it is supposedly past its window. A big jammy wine. Good if you like the style and I do when it is paired with my wife's spicy meatloaf. Definitely not for sipping or the faint of heart.

A little funk on the front end that dissipated. Black olive, brine, dark fruit, mulled spice and a very savory finish. A full but not a big wine. Medium weight and texture. Different but I like it. Had it with a grilled ribeye and it needed the food.

Decanted and drank over a couple of hours. Remained aromatically restrained but elegant and approachable on the palate after an hour or so. Cherry and spice with subdued tannin on the finish. Matched it with a chicken and mushroom dish. It worked but preferred it on its own.

It took me way too long to start drinking Dolcetto and specifically the bottles from Einaudi. It is consistently good, pairs well with many of my wife's favorite pasta dishes and is reasonably priced. The 2017 has a beautiful floral aroma and on the palate it offers a tasty and concentrated blend of cherry, tobacco and mineral.

This is excellent tonight. Tight aromatics initially but delicious from the first sip. Fresh, sweet fruit. Cherry, tobacco and licorice. Tannins are noticeable on the finish but not intrusive. The nose opened up with time. Two hours in a decanter for the next bottle.

Our first bottle of the 2010. Green tint in the glass. Restrained nose. Lime, white peach, spice and a touch of honey. Tight acidity on the finish. Still tasting young and fresh. It has not yet put on noticeable weight. Consistently excellent year after year and it hits the high notes again in this bottle.

Tasted after an hour in decanter and judging by how it evolved in the glass another couple of hours would have been preferable. Quiet nose. Blackberry, spice, oak and graphite on the palate. Good acidity. Soft and tasty although not overly complex.

First taste immediately after decanting. Note from a couple of years ago still applies with the exception that the acidity is less pronounced. "Black fruit, soy, anise, mocha and a little pepper on the finish. Modest tannin and bracing acidity. Vibrant, elegant, refined and delicious." It is in the zone... Two hours later and just added a point. It has moved up a notch or two.

Our last bottle of the 2009. Continues to add weight and depth. More creme brûlée and Bosc pear now but still finishes with crisp citric acidity. Lots of life left and on its way to being a fuller and richer wine. Young or old is a matter of personal preference but this wine never disappoints.
