Peach and brine with a crisp finish. Full weight and a creamy texture. Not just an aperitif. This is a superb rosé that is great with food. Hope it has legs. We liked it enough to buy a case.

Full weight and texture. Stone fruit, touch of cantaloupe, mineral and good acidity on the finish. Hard to beat a good Bandol. Best 2018 rosé we have tried so far.

Delicious. Fruit forward but not over the top. Licorice, dark berry and savory. Many years to go but too good now to encourage patience, for me at least.

Welcoming immediately upon opening. Old school Rioja. It is on the lean side of the spectrum. Soft dry cherry, tobacco and spice. Not sure where it goes from here but I like where it is now.

We bought this three years ago and forgot about it. Expectations were low after so long but we found it to still be very good. Lemon and almond. Seems to have added a little heft.

Tasted initially a half hour after decanting. It was still a light tight but opened up beautifully over a couple of hours. Opulent and delicious. Black cherry, spice, cedar and olive. In a good spot now but plenty of life left in this one.

Third bottle we have tried, first in a resturant and next two at home. Meyer lemon, mineral, spice and a hint of creme brûlée on the long finish. Best when it was well chilled. Delicious.

Superb given the price point. Relatively light texture and style but not light on flavor. Raspberry, clove and a touch of root beer. Subtle and delicious.

Soft, elegant, refined, delicious and sadly our last ‘06 Le Poste. Cherry, garrigue and spice. A Rhône flavor profile but Burgundian in style.

More withdrawn than expected. The fruit is there, along with a touch of cedar, but this is a relatively lean wine. No way this gets better from here. Probably waited too long already.

Our last bottle of the 2008. Brine, olive and delicious fruit. Immediately open and accessible. Smooth and sensuous. Lots of life left. Great with grilled ribeyes.

Our last bottle of this vintage. Seemed past its best at first but opened up nicely in glass. Soft cherry, cinnamon, earth and cedar. Full of life. Paired it with my daughter’s Pasta alla Norma and they were superb together.

This is maturing gracefully. Superb nose. Soft, mellow, elegant and complex. Still plenty of life left but excellent now. Had it on my wife’s birthday with grilled lamb chops with rosemary. Great pairing.

Cork was fragile and broke. Need to use ah-so on future bottles.

Another excellent bottle. To my taste at least, this wine improves with time in glass and as it warms toward room temperature.

Note from previous bottle consumed eight months ago still applies. This is a superb wine. The only difference is a sense in this bottle that there is little upside from here. That was not obvious to me in our last.
