From magnum. Auction bottle - mostly tertiary but some lingering fruit remains. Given it’s age+pedigree, an astonishingly successful whim purchase

92 - really well executed bottle of wine, but QPR is suspect when there are so many great cab driven options out there

93+, flawless bottle. Could easily pop and pour at this stage but this did develop nicely after observing over 2+ hours of air time

Plenty of life left here, and very likely to improve with further aging. Beginning to fade into secondary and tertiary aromas but a strong streak of both acidity and tannin remain. Happy to have a few more of these to let sit.

Better on night one than night two. Decanted for ~2 hours and registered smoke, dried red fruits, and leather on the nose. Very reminiscent of 90’s Bordeaux on the palate. Night two (after having been poured back into the bottle and vacu-vin’ed in a cool area) had a noticeable bump in heat from alcohol on both nose and palate. Would suggest drinking in one sitting or letting it sit for a few additional years.
