Uncorked 5 hours in advanced. A strawberry farm bouquet. It's young but fairly good demonstration of it's potential of elegance and balance. Keep for a few years before trying another one.

In drinking window now and very enjoyable actually. The weaker vintage balanced with oak influence. Quite elegant and all-rounded in fruits and acidity. Not bad for the cost.

It's already in the advanced stage so better served with lower temperature. Heavy oak influence without sufficient fruity and acidity to balance the palate. OTOH, it gave a prominent texture and body. Inconsistency was clearly seen here compare with my last bottle tried 10 months ago.

Another year in bottle and it gained weight, body, and texture. Fine acidity but some how not very elaborating.

Allowed 2 hours of slow-ox. Elegant, good fineness, yet with a very formidable structure. A very balanced bottle. Still a decade of life ahead but is ready to please anyone now.

Bought in 2010 and kept in cellar since then. Tannin was well dissolved. Hollow mid-palate. Good acidity at finish. Nothing spectacular.

V721 disgorged 2007. Open two bottles from the same batch. One of them is more mature. All-in-all, brillant bouquet which would suck you into the glass. Lovely balanced palate with dancing fruits and sharp acidity.

Bought 10 years ago ex-domaine after a domaine visit. The back-label has a QR code on it. Allowed 2 hours of air in bottle. Intense plum and cherries in the muscalar aroma. Good structure and fruits. Very balanced and fine in an hour upon serving. A good Musigny.

Allow 4 hours of slow-ox in bottle. Good but not great performance. A little bit out of balance with a intense aroma, good mineral, fine acidity but a hallow mid-palate. Maybe I was over-expected.

Another story from another bottle tried five years ago. Exotic fruits, mineral, and some buttery cream in both aroma and palate. Textured but still out-of-balance with very very weak acidity.

Uncorked 5 hours in advance. Another wonderful show from Roulot even it is from a lesser vintage. Elegant floral and fruity aroma. Stunning structure after allowing further aeration. Lingering acidity. No doubt it can be benefited with a few years of further ageing.

It has everything of an average Meursault village should has. Yes, it's just an very average Meursault village in both aroma and palate. And it is a 2014, not 13 or 15. The market price is simply a ripoff.

To my surprise, this one was outperformed by the 2018 of same climat tried last month. The minerals and saline dominated the palate. Aroma was great but palate was unbalanced. It's good that the acidity covered some faults. Bottle variance or vintage issue?

Beautiful vosne aroma. The palate is on the other hand quite bewildering. At time it can be lean and green, but 30 mins later it can be heavy and intense. I would give it the benefit of the doubt.

My last 163eme magnum. iD 315047 and disgorged 15 Summer. Another magnificent experience. Krug Grand Cuvee magnum and double-magnum are in another league from standard bottle. It is difficult to not be moved by the wonderful bouquet and palate -- toasty, fruity, nutty, and lingering acidity. Wish I have a dozen.

Disgorge 01/2021. 70% Pinot 30% Chardonnay. Good fruity and palate but not yeasty/toasty. It got a very good structure which is a nice surprise considering the low price point. High acidity in the finish. Should be better with some further aging.

Excellent condition without any sign of pre-ox. Allowed 2 hours of breathing in bottle but still shy initially. Gave it some time and higher temperature then it turned to be a powerful presentation of Meursault with textural palate with a zesty fruits, honeysuckle and mineral backbone. Acidity was low but it's a great bottle at this price point.
