Best rosé in the world and one of the better bottles I have had. Or it was the food pairing. Or the company :)

Poewerful thing full of fruit at opening. Now we will let it breath for hours and see where that takes us.

Shows potential no doubt but right now not in the perfect spot. I would hold off on this - another 5 years or so.

So young yet still so majestic. Typical DRC nose which was charming after an hour or so. Very long on the palate and kept growing with air for hours. Humbling wine to drink. All had this as a GC Leroy or DRC and one round the table nailed it as the RC 2012 it was.

Absolutely brilliant and almost Montrachet like fullness to it. Still very young so would have loved to taste this one in 10 years from now.

A very Petrus wine that I am sure I would have nailed if I had not known what it was :) I love this and again thinks it show better than the vintage would have you believe. Certainly approachable although still young. Not many people guessing Merlot - which I thought was a bit surprising...

Producer tops the vineyard in this case. Leroy is always Leroy independent of if this is Village or a GC. It has all the trademarks of a Leroy and the only one matching this in my opinion is DRC.

By far the best Sperss in the vertical today. Nice and complex nose as well as a wine that has now come together in a great way. In its prime.

Yes half of the crew was in the US and some had it right as a DDLC but the stalkiness of the wine certainly had some people in Burgundy as well. This wine stood its ground vs a Leroy and DRC RC however without the same body as the later. Impressive.

Maturing nicely. As the young whole cluster nose is subsiding it is instead showing nice fruit but a bit shy although some Burgundian sendary notes appearing. Not sure this will improve further - good spot now.
